Trump actually avoided her question and answered a different one instead. Nobody wants any deaths, but they are sometimes unavoidable. Stopping the war prematurely by withholding aid strongly favors Russia. That's her assumption. That's how the world interprets his answer. It's strange that Ukrainians don't want to be enslaved so much that they will die to protect their country, and then Donald says - from 5000 miles away "I don't give you that option - you're going to be slaves". - which also tells NATO and all our allies that we are undependable. Virtually all of the money spent for Ukraine is actually going to American defense contractors to produce new weapons as we give Ukraine or older weapon stock for the most part. So that money went almost entirely to America to support American jobs while helping an ally defend their borders. What exactly is it?
