1/30/24 UPDATE: He just got arrested for 1st-degree sexual assault of a child and incest with a child... ----- His case also just recently closed. He plead guilty to the charge “Attempt 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of Child” and his second charge “Use a Computer to Facilitate a Child Sex Crime” was dismissed but read in. Here’s what WI Court Records say: “CRT: sentence withheld 3 years probation w/cond: follow sex offender registry as a condition of probation & it will also be a lifetime requirement… he is allowed to see his own children & step daughter as allowed by the family court”

Did the courts rule of any requirements for him to go through therapy? His journal sounds like he was trying to minimize being a predator by being a "good guy" and yet not admitting to his impulsive behavior. Years of probation and being on a sex offender list doesn't really address the core problem of a man who can't control his impulses and desperately needs therapy.

Alot of people see a therapist, but they are still legally responsible if they commit or attempt to commit a violent crime. The OP said the guy is a sick individual and he hopes that the guy is punished accordingly. Diary notwithstanding, I don't believe that he was. And worse, I believe giving him open contact with his children, and even allowing him to reside with a step child puts all those children along with any others (well, of his preferred gender) in danger. If this guy groomed my daughter or molested my son in a public restroom at a little league game, I would be livid that the system caught him, knew what he was all about, then just turned him loose to victimize more children. I mean, those people in law enforcement have to be asking themselves what is even the point?- if the courts are just going to act like it's no big deal.

There are less than you think actually. Also there are different levels of child predators. You have the really twisted ones going for children, pedophiles. Then you have these creeps going for 15 year olds. I don't know how these people can't understand that there isn't a way to get away with it much anymore. With technology, there is traces of you. You wouldn't be able to text an underage at all...think about it, that's permanent evidence. Then yo u have the parents monitoring their children. They don't have a license so they can't just leave wherever they want. These child predators and pedophiles are pretty stupid.
@geroldgrimel4811 Жыл бұрын
@Worm Bat Well, let's crunch some numbers. 3,659,289 Americans were born in 2021, and we estimate the pedophile population to be around 5%. (Probably more, since they are reluctant to be identified even for clinical purposes.) That means roughly 183,000+ pedophiles were born last year in the States. Only 100,000 people are arrested for sex crimes in the U.S. at most, in any given year, and that includes those who offended against an adult. So we're not even detecting the majority of people who are primarily attracted to children, either because they don't offend, or because they don't get caught. The dumb ones get caught, that's for sure, because we can see them... But the number imply that the majority of them are very smart, and practice evasion. Some of them, are actually cops, judges, and jail guards as well. That's a little alarming, when you consider how many get off with a warning, or how many pedophile killers end up dead. I guess what I'm saying is... don't bet your entire world view on stupid TV shows and their fictional narratives?
@wombat5252 Жыл бұрын
@@geroldgrimel4811 You're looking at the OVERALL number of ''pedophiles'' without classifying them. There are also 23 year olds getting caught with 16 or 17 year olds and then classified as a sex offender. Then you have ones that simply show themselves nude. Those numbers aren't really true. There are less pedophiles than you think. It's a mental disorder. It's not normal to be attracted to underdeveloped kids.
@geroldgrimel4811 Жыл бұрын
