Comma 3X - SunnyPilot 0.9.6 Day Interchange Test

This video shows how the Comma 3X driver assistance system running SunnyPilot 0.9.6 handles a highway interchange in my 2023 Kia EV6. This was filmed at the US-70 and I-25 interchange along with the I-25 and I-10 interchange in Las Cruces, NM. I am using the Farmville driving model.
Overall the system is able to handle interchanges and splits (forks in the road) better with the Farmville driving model. It is much improved compared to older models.

Hi! I've heard that some cars like the 2020 Sonata supports automatic lane changing in conjunction with the blind spot monitor? (without needing to put turn signals and nudging the steering wheel), do you know anything about this?

No, the stock Hyundai-Kia system will always require that you signal and nudge the wheel to confirm. On the Comma, you have the option in settings to allow the system to do it without requiring confirmation by nudging the wheel.

@@ArtiePenguin1 Thanks for the reply. Does this nudgeless only work a blindspot monitor? Also, is there an option on SunnyPilot where intervening with brake or accelerator won't disengage the system?

It should work without blindspot monitor. Yes, you can set SunnyPilot to not disengage only the steering upon brake or accelerator input. The system will always pause speed control (longitudinal movement) for safety whenever brake or accelerator is pressed.

Cool video. Are you using navigate on openpilot? How does it know where to go at a fork? Also, what's on your steering wheel?

Thank you! No, I'm not using navigate on OpenPilot because right now that requires experimental end to end longitudinal control. Enabling that would disable auto emergency braking in my vehicle. I think the driving model is just following the left (yellow) edge line of the road. If there's a dashed line, it'll follow that. The things on my steering wheel are GoPro remotes to control the cameras.

For the EV6, yes, it does! I'm not sure if they support the EV9 yet on the stable release version, but that's only because it is a new car.
