Love your videos!! Thank you so much for your time making these. I am 26 and brand new to tennis and your videos have been so fun to watch for suggestions, research, and inspiration! I fell in love with the look and background of yonex and bought myself a 2020 ezone 98 (305). Put a Wilson leather replacement grip on it to add weight to the handle, lime green yonex super grap overgrip, and then put luxilon natural gut on the mains and luxilon 4g rough on the crosses at 53 lbs. I then added 2 gram lead strips to the 3 and 9 position on the racquet head. As you can imagine I’m terrible with the racquet lol 😂 but I didn’t want to buy a beginner racquet and then spend the money later on for a better racquet. But I’m getting better pretty quick! At least against my friends who are also terrible at tennis! Thank you again for all your videos and help! My wife laughs whenever I start playing your videos now since she knows I like watching anything you post! Thanks again!

The lighter versions are also the versions that are perfectly suitable for customisation. I have a head gravity mp lite with a static weight of 342 grams, balance 310 and a swing weight of 325. You cannot customise a racket that's heavier to start with to those specs. Same way i have customised my Wilson clash normal to a static weight of 347 grams, balance 305 and swing weight 320. Try it.. it will be amazing. I can transition between those two rackets without much adaptation. The yonex vcore 98L can also be an interesting racket for customisation And i have sold my clash tour/Pro because of the lack of room for customisation

thanks, good timing for this video, I am just demoing the Ezone 98 and the Vcore 98. The Vcore 98 is really quickly to swing, and I love it on my 1BH. However, the RA65 fills quite stiff... It's strung with PTP @25kg which is also higher than my normal stringing.

To me, sticks are like sports cars...if i like the paint, shape, feel, power, etc...I like to play with it. I appreciate different designs and performance as NO brand or model is perfect! I'd like to add a Head, Yonnex and Wilson to my collection of Babs and Prince. If you play at a high level, you will appreciate all the differences in technologies...gud thing tennis is so much cheaper than golf...don't get me started on my golf gear over the years...my Miz MP-4's are $1200 a set...ouch! A drivert these days are $300-$500 for one mudda pucker club...WTF?

the Vcore 100+ is just the extended 27.5" version of the Vcore 100 right? In that case the analog would be the Pure Aero Plus.

Yonex is widely used in the United States but not in Europe? Why? Do not know! I play with Wilson PS97 Black my wife Babolat Pure Drive and next month I will switch to using Babolat Pure Aero. I've tried Yonex but I don't like it, but it's my opinion!

I think the Aero dominates in sales due to the success of Rafa. You will be surprised how many people want to buy the racquet endorsed by the latest grand slam winner(even though most of the time it is not even close to what they play with). My local ProShop guy says he sells a lot of RF97A when roger wins a slam. Crazy people.

The Aero line is more popular in general thanks to the popularity and dominance of Rafa. There's nothing wrong with the Pure Drive line, it's just not as well-represented in the top tiers of the pro tour. Marketing can do wonders.

I'm seriously wondering just how much difference is made by racquet head size. I realize smaller racquets are supposed to give a player greater control, and that larger head sizes are said to provide more power, but how much difference does it truly make, let's say between a similar 98 and a 100?

If it is a matter of just 2 sq inches then it wouldn't matter much . However the string pattern like 16x18 , 16x20 , 18x20 or 14x18 and then the racquet weight as well matters a lot in comparing racquets control and power.

Vcore 98 has a similar feel to the blade (modern players racquet). Vcore Pro has a more classic feel/touch like a traditional ProStaff before wilson screwed it up with countervail.
