Golf I've seen people standing over the ball longer than needed. See something on the ground think it will mess them up, move it. Stance is wonky, adjust. Sound in the distance, distraction. Checking the lay of the putting a full 180. Change the club change the ball, practice swing much more than you need to. Don't like the first shoot hit more it's not like theirs a group of 4 people behind you

I was a gymnast and realigning back to the corner was the most satisfying thing to do. But i never stopped to think how ridiculous it would look if we indeed just walked into position since gymnastics is all about elegance. Also we had to learn our exercise by heart and yes, it specifically says how you realign. We don’t make it up which makes it even funnier
