@matthew martin Fester's Quest is not that bad. The graphics, music, and gameplay are all solid. It's just the fact that enemies take forever to kill and dying *_ANYWHERE_* starts you *_ALL THE WAY BACK_* . In a game where you'll die a lot in, that's frustrating.

@@matttherrien9608 The problem is to guess which Double Dragon game is going to be. Gen/MD got the original trilogy of games, SNES got DD Returns, both share DD V and the 8 bit consoles share the first game at least. So probably another NES/SMS episode or it's DD V.

I always felt that the plain cartoon graphics were paying homage to the animated series as well as the original newspaper comic. Definitely one of my favorite games growing up due to the freedom to choose which levels to play first instead of having a set order.

I will always have strong nostalgia for the NES Addams Family. It was One of the the first games I ever remember playing when I was like 3 or 4. Then years later my great grandmother passed away and I discovered an nes in her attic and it of course had that game still inside. Never managed to beat it but will always love and defend it ! I grew up with this game, so I have a soft spot for it. The Amiga version (which I played) has black backgrounds, though. Also, I always think the graphics are very 'European', which is no bad thing. I'd love to be able to put my finger on WHY that is, in general, but I'm not sure. Quite... chunky? Check out the 'Values' sequel for SNES and Genesis; it's more an action-RPG but also has that European feel, in spades (chunkier than ever!). Plus it has an amazingly atmospheric soundtrack.
