When you go so dark with your metallics that Iron Warriors becomes a highlight colour. Wow. Targor Rageshade keeps impressing me. I need to pick up a pot of that stuff as it might just become the new Agrax Earthshade. It works really well.

Really enjoyed this tutorial, Now the only issue I have is how hard would it be to do something with this scheme made on the rest of the force.... Dreadnoughts, Tanks, Heavies, etc....I'm really hoping that GW is re-releasing the Mk3 Iron Armored troops (the last reveal stream teased mk3, and i hope they are going to be upscaled, with all sorts of options for them), after all my IHs legionaries will need Iron Armor. My large SM force (40k Primaris and 30k IH) will be sharing the same color scheme. Silly question, I know you use blue to give the black a bluish appearance what would happen if you were to use a brown tone? I also would love to see some reds/brass done for some terminator heavy troops. Thanks for this video

Or you could just spray it with leadbelcher and put two coats of basilicanum grey. Let's the metallic basecoat shine through better than black legion.

Makes sense. This video is really good at highlighting that Black Legion is a true neutral black, and as such it's difficult to use it in a satisfying manner compared to, say; Black Templar over an underlying colour. It's really like a black ink really. I imagine it's really cool to use when you absolutely want to black something out; like darth vader.'s undersuit. I like the video non the less.
