Hammad is right. Inertia is the property of matter from Newtonian physics stating that an object that is in motion will stay in motion until/unless an external force acts upon it to change it. So stating that Corrections is like inertia in that it keeps us from getting anywhere is factually incorrect. Assuming that we are already in motion, we will get somewhere...just maybe not where we intend or want to be. Like the graphics department.

It felt like, stay with me here, a divorced parent starting to date again. He could just do it and completely ignore how the kids/audience feels about it because it's his life/show and it will ultimately probably be a good thing, but he took the time to sit us down and let us know we were heard and there will always be time for just us in this little place we've built. That is a very sweet and oddly (creatively?) heart-string pulling description - of course with the obligatory Jackal Daddy goofy graphics at the beginning and end, he lightened the mood. I think I'm not going out too far on a limb by suggesting that the "Graphics Go Here" card and music were just as much to keep him from tearing up as us. I totally get it that a comedian needs the audience - or else he'd be the funniest guy in the corporate lunch room. But it was super nice to hear that he started reading our comments for that same reason! Our jackal family stuck it out together and there is nothing like a crisis to prove that a family has what it takes to keep it together! I love Seth Meyers. I've watched the show since it began. This show has helped get me through the past year and a half. " Correctshuns" is hilarious, and for the real fans of the show, an even more intimate moment with our beloved host (and production laughter). Thank you Seth, and all there who work to bring the joy of laughter to us- especially throughout 2020-21, when laughter was hard to find at times. Seth can expose the ignorant, challenge corruption, illustrate hypocrisy- all the while finding humor and making us smile or laugh in spite of how screwed up things have become. I think that is pretty amazing. If you see this comment, Seth, know you're work is appreciated... needed. Now more than ever. And your parents and brother and kids are all a delight too. 😊

I absolutely love Corrections !! May it, and Seth, remain with us for as long as humanly possible. I've watched been a watcher of SNL for the last 20yrs, and I've also enjoyed Seth's time there. And he has only gotten better. This simple interaction with his staff and including us, has warmed my soul in so many ways, and I just feel the love that Seth has. When many of my days have fallen into depression, and I have been lonely throughout this pandemic, when PTSD and anxiety attacks have been unrelenting, these Corrections, and this show, has made me laugh and reminded me that there is still some humanity left in this world. So Thank You Seth, for Everything 💯🤗

@@exnihilog Absolutely. It was cute the first time Seth brought out Karen to do "what Karen doesn't know", but then he spotlighted Amber and Jenny with "jokes Seth can't tell". Giving direct attention to the people who make the show happen, because no one reads the credits. Showcasing the talent humanized this production. I feel more loyal and 'in' on the jokes because we got to know the writers. I subscribed to Seth because I was a fan of A Closer Look on SNL and I was thrilled it got it's own show. But now it's not nearly as important to me as corrections. This is comedy for comedians. The cream of the crop. I love that there is a space for the content that is written for them and by them.

I used to really enjoy Colbert, though he seemed to always be "on" and wanting center stage. (Guess they're supposed to! Duh!😉) But he really enjoyed Bernie as a guest and then would repeatedly play the "age" card....before the primaries even!! He wasn't alone, but if he influenced one voter, that was one too many!! Bernie was/is sharp as a tack, he was/is accomplishing big things every day, and huge crowds gathered to support him at rallies. Then the DNC got super worried and moved him aside...just like in 2016!! Bernie is still making waves and doing more than ANYONE, but he deserved to be President and was the most qualified. Comedians need to be careful what they harp on. They are listened to more than they should be sometimes!!
