I think “prestige” is a bit of a sticky subject, because what exactly does that ultimately mean? The Z06 comes from a 70 year line where a lot of that is housed in genuine racing, with Corvettes being some of the most dominant cars in their class. And, the Z06 itself has a bonafide GT3 race engine powering it. That’s insane pedigree and prestige, imo.

I drove the C8 and thought it was very cool but it didn't make me want one. It was so composed and I felt like I needed more. The ZO6 is more of everything I lust for. Mine is Red Mist 3LZ !!

Z06 fixes some glaring c8 design flaws imo, the rear fascia of stingray is too wide, the wheel arches and wheels are too tucked in compared to the width of the regular C8, making it look slab sided, I (a person who has minimal aesthetic sense) talked to a car designer who shared the exact thoughts about C8.

I love your Z06 and those wheels makes it perfect! The only thing I'd do is lower it and change the rear wing to the new ZR1 style. I've always wanted one, but I went to sit inside of the Stingray when the C8 platform made it's debut and the interior is too tight for my 6'5", 290 pound body. I hate that they make these cars externally large but with cramped interiors.

This car needs a complete redesign on the interior, the HMI interface and the dash instruments! No bar of small buttons for HVAC! Look at what Lamborghini did with the Huracan Tecnica! And this engine needs twin turbos and AWD! 😂😂😂

I like the car but the wheels and tires don't fit. They should be flush with the fender and the car needs to be lowered down because it's sitting too high off the wheels

With a 12.5:1 compression ratio, you’re not gonna be making a lot of boost reliably with the LT6. It wasn’t made for that kind of application like the LT7 was.

Assuming you’re driving the Z06 the way you should be driving a Z06, you would likely not be a huge fan of the ZR1, GM does not see the buyer of these models as the same people, the Z06 is still expected to be the most enthusiast option. Watch the new Savagegeese ZR1 video, the head engineer discusses how the ZR1 is softer and more forgiving. You can option the ZR1 into a full kill spec, but at that point it’s not much of a street car anymore.
