I'm so glad I found this video, because I'm truly concerned this is what's happening to me. My PCP asked me to log symptoms for a month, and everything I've logged, in my opinion, indicates a hiatal hernia aggravating the vagus nerve so badly that it's causing anxiety and panic attacks along with typical hiatal hernia symptoms. I don't know how to convince my Dr to just schedule an exam or anything to check for a histal hernia. She wanted me to just try an antacid for another 30 days, but im beyond that. I'm having frequent anxiety and panic attacks. It's frustrating.

Oouu my goodness......., am so happy to see this clip and read the comments here. I was also diagnosed with Hiatic Hernia 4 years ago. Struggling with anxiety and panic attacks since then and no one could tell me yet that this could be linked to this hiatic hernia. No doctor could help me with the anxiety yet. I landed up already 4 times attge emergency due to panic attacks because I thought I am getting a heart attack. Heart was tested and all ok but reflux and hitting hernia was three times independently diagnosed. this clip opens my eyes. This is crazy, could this be eventually the answer am looking for for 4 years?

Here lately when I fall asleep just for a nap or at night, I keep wake up gasping. It feels like I'm being suffocated. Then I feel scared and can feel my heart racing.😭

thanku for sharing.. 100% agreed that antidepressant side effect r so dangerous, Ive been using antidepressant for 1year & now I had a brain fog, and other horrible symptomps, Antidepressant is not an answer, and Im sure anxiety or panic attack can totally gone as the time goes by and it doesnt need antidepressant. It'll change ur brain 😭 . N now im here searching for answer, bcause i dont know how to fix my brain.. 😢

I am suspecting HH, and went to gastro the other day. He said he never heard of HH causing vagus nerve/autonomic NS symptoms. I got POTS shortly after having a 6 week bronchitis, in 2005. Not to mention anxiety and chemical sensitivities/food sensitivities. I'm now betting on the HH theory for the root cause!

This is all me. I had shortness of breath for 8 months and crazy panic attack from nowhere... well because I can't inhale. Doctors was telling me it is all in my head. Finally I have seen ENT and he said my vocal cords is inflamed. I started antyreflux diet. And feeling much better. But still feel tightness in upper abdominal and can not really lay down always have to be super straight. I wish I see if it is hernia. I may need to go for xray. It is the cheapest solution. Can't afford upper endoscopy. How you diagnose this. Is there some another way. Do you have clinic in Utah? My life just not how it was before. Also my right shoulder hurts all the time.

Me too having shortness of breath 24/7 for 8 months with anxiety done all breathing test and CT scan yet all results are normal now I'm consulting gastroenterologist and taking ppi medicine as they suspect reflux

@@ajovisileo please check if you have any hital hernia. Possibly sliding hernia gives you those symptoms. If it is super big it needs surgery. But I'd it is mild you can heal it with life changing and breathing exercises. Keep me posted

Idk I have done with endoscopy also and yes the results are normal but there was possibility of reflux ....idk if hital harnia can be diagnosed through endoscopy .... I'm totally stressed out suffering from shortness of breath and crazy anxiety attacks

Hi miss , I am from guyana i experience short of breath along with belching , yarning and between my lower ribs nevertheless I along suffer a headache , heart beating fast fast every day and belly pain and I don't know if it's stomach flu. However I am belching a lot acid coming up to my throat I have a difficult time swallowing here and pain at my chest , ribs side , arm and foot. I don't know if it's heart attack having my heart beat fast fast every day

My name is Anan Hardeo I am from guyana , my problem with me is like i feel to ruin off last year may when I took my covid vaccine 2 dose after 1 week I went up and clean my ceiling n bat dust or I don't know infect me , nevertheless after one day I went out with my mom early morning and eat nothing until 2 o clock. I came home n then ate my rice n curry the following day I get up good and take a bathe I start feeling my head going round n round like i going to fall I hurry n bathe and change my clothes and there is where I got the short of breath and headaches, a pain at my stomach and dirrahea I said I give up . I went n buy diamond water and drink belching like crazy and the following days I get belching n yarning a lot and my belly swell out. I told my parents they told me it's wind I still get the short of breath and headaches, i eventually belch and acid up my throat cause a burning in my stomach and heart and the heart beating fast fast like crazy and chest pain . I went to a doctor and told him about the bat dust and eventually he use a stethoscope and check my lungs and pescribe medicine . I also did pressure test and still the same . Now my heart is beating so fast I don't know if it's heart attack or what . I get bad muscle pain , had stomach flu with sneezing and coughing , hoarsness, headache and swing head , belly coming out unto now , belching one steady non stop , short of breath, nose burning and blocking up , pain at my chest, arm , back and all over my body and eyes feeling tired and weakness . As of 23 January 2022 I am still into it . But going to visit a doctor and do some check up . Wish for a cure in my life and for everyone else .

My doctor didn't even tell me how big my hiatal hernia is all he said was it was a small one I don't know if I believe him because I feel like crap almost weekly and are having symptoms as well mainly acid reflux and the pain in my chest.
