That green thing looks like a 1980s bridesmaid dress. The one the bride picks out because she doesn't want any of the attendants to look better than her. That designed is full of it - it could have been done as a wrap, but more difficult to do that.

It wouldn't be done the way she wanted because of the fabric choice. It's a thick lace. I had the same discussion with my tailor for my wife's dress for our wedding. If he made it the way she wanted it would still make her mad because it would look thicker and worse. This is what happens when you don't know design.

I'm sorry but that dress is awful lol. He used the wrong lace material there's sheer lingerie type lace and there's your grandma's wedding dress lace from the 50's. That dress is bulky and heavy and definitely not like a lace couture dress you would expect to see these days.

What a lousy way to do business. bound to fail....... Case two.... the material you chose can never be used in the dress you showed, but yes, the one he made does look like a dress for a much older woman.

Home sewer here. "Faux" wrap dress should be pronounced "fō", not "fox". It's one of those borrowed French words, like chic, haute couture, beau, rendezvous, etc. No shade intended, a lot of folks make this mistake.

She always says that you can't get the money back for the item and a new item because then you're getting the dress in this case for free.
