*Bud* will STOP _Madrimov_ by *KO!* Madrimov's footwork is often out of position so he lounges in with a power punch to make up for it. *He's open for check hooks all day!* Also, Madrimov throws lazy jabs at times. Other problems I see is that he doesn't take his head off the line, this explains why he over compensates his resets with four steps or he'll step off utilizing his jump rope rhythm. And in between those resets is where *Bud* can simply pivot and cut off and counter to prevent his escape. Because Madrimov thinking is reset. Also, he does this to catch his wind. He seems out of breath, so, the distance is so he can gather his composure. Bud can easily pressure him and break Madrimov by rounds 6 and 8. Another thing that I see is a lot of times before entering, Madrimov doesn't use faints. For Bud, he's always improving and changing his style of entry based on the opponent. *I see Bud really taking Madrimov to school and out classing him.* For Bud, he's a master boxing pugilist, so, you rarely see him do the same mistake twice. My only concern for *Bud* is the power difference, can he handle a straight shot? Other than that my gameplan is listed above. *Bud* makes another outstanding showcase at the Super Welterweight Division!

Madrimov's only chance is his explosive overhand, right. Bud has a tendency to take an early shot to gauge his opponent's power, so he knows what he can get away with. This could be a problem at a heavier division. But, I am sure that Bomac and company are aware of that. Bud by surgical destruction. The skill gap is too wide.

Bud wouldn't take an overhand to gauge power from Madrimov. That's just stupid. Bud can simply let Madrimov waste movement and capitalize when he is given chances, and he will. Honestly, the only tough styles I see for Bud at 154 is against Fundora (fighting tall) and Tzsyu. Tzsyu is slower but has excellent timing and pinpoint accurate punches, plus he comes forward smartly and does a great job of pushing his opponent back. I still favor Bud to become undisputed at 154 though.

@@law21ai nah his tiny little skeleton that allowed him to compete for world titles at 135 as a pro is the same tiny little skeleton...crawford on bambi legs in 6 ref steps in and saves him. madrimov is more than comfy with the power of super middleweights and crawford aint no tommy hearns so expecting him to hit that hard at 154 is more than unreasonable. so my point still stands and crawford will not have the power to discour him so its a very bad choice of opponent

August 4, there will be an abundance of fans out there claiming this kid wasn't good because of what Crawford is going to do with him and how easy it may seem that Crawford handles him. Madrimov is a talented fighter. Decent athlete, but when it comes to levels, Madrimov does not have the skill set to neutralize Crawford's attack. That compared to how elite Crawford is with his counter punching, I wouldn't be surprised if Crawford had the fight in complete control by the end of the 3rd round, possibly getting Madrimov out of there by the 7/8th round. Love this break down. I'll have to check out your other videos. In this one you addressed how Crawford works from the southpaw stance. You didn't show how he neutralizes the aggression from the orthodox stance. A lot of times, that's where Crawford analyzes his opponents before switching to do the things you mentioned in this video.

madrimov physicality is what i think can allow him some success, bud starts slow and can be gotten to early; but his power and his physicalty allows him to bully people, and hold his position/base which lets him punch w/maximum power... Madrimov i believe can navigate the power early put a body on terrence and put some volume together while terrence is making reads.. Early it needs to be body head combos, a hard pace and use his body to navigate things... but every round the experience and skill gap will be highlighted

Based on film and history we think Crawford will fight in a southpaw stance. This is Madrimov vs one of the two southpaws he’s faced as a pro who has a style more similar to Crawford’s than the other. Crawford has fought plenty of orthodox fighters.

did you not see all of those holes in madrimov's style???? madrimov lacks fundamental defensive discipline. he overcommits, drops his hands, swings with wide punches and has a predictable cadence to his footwork and angles. Madrimov is definitely athletic, but he lacks discipline defensively, which is a grave mistake if your fighting a guy like Crawford. Crawford's advantages are higher IQ, speed, experience, patience, defence, better athlete, switch hitter, better, foot work, better jab, longer reach, better at making adjustments.......etc... I can go on and on. BUD is definitely also the better Boxer and more patient killer.

This kids tough, great foot work, & powerful, but sloppy. Crawfords obviously way above his class being much more strategic & technically sound. This fights the classic youth & power vs an old fox. Crawford could get clipped, but so could Madrimov when he does that lunging Achilles like punch. It's a terribly risky move, because it will increase the impact of Budds power on contact.
