I love adding avocado to my smoothies, I find keeping it to about 1/4 cup of frozen avocadoes add wonderful creaminess without changing the taste.

I find adding avocados does totally change the taste so I prefer to just eat them on their own. To make my smoothies creamier I add 2 extra large eggs.

I've been adding avocado to my smoothies for years. I also add a cup of raw spinach to my smoothies. I get my greens in at the same time. I don't think it alters the flavor much.

Ok....so I tried that cucumber-avocado smoothie. It was very good, especially after my tastebuds got acclimated to the cucumber in a smoothie format. My killer smoothie (serves two) includes a whole avocado, heavy whipping cream, a whole egg, and frozen berries. Sometimes, it comes out so thick, I have to add a little water.

I think the best thing to do is try a bunch and find the one you personally like best for what you use it for. Keep in mind quite often they will be sold as blends with flavoring added. Always check the ingredients to know what it actually is. For for example the first ingredient in my Splenda brand stevia is erythritol.

No matter where I shop (mainline grocery stores, farmers market, or wholesale markets) 50% or greater of the avocados have an unpleasant quality like rotting flesh inside, tough stringy fibers, and sometimes just a bland flavor. I tried and hate pre-made guacamole. So, I just gave up on avocados and use plain Greek yogurt to thicken smoothies instead.

My medibolic specialist won’t allow me to go over 4 grams of carbs ever 4 hours. I’m not allowed to eat fruit either. I was sent to him to lose weight. I weighed 179lbs. I’m down to 155lbs already. It’s working well. I’m just wondering why you are saying you can eat all these things? 💝🥰

Everyone is different. It could be because your metabolism was broken, that’s why your nutritionist has you on 4 g every 4 hours. Remember, not everyone eats this way for weight loss. There are many people who eat low carb for brain function, inflammation, energy, etc.
