about the infamy for annexation in eu4... imagine if you could spend like 75% of original dip points of the annexation cost at the cost of like i dunno, like imagine if u have that option, and then a nation has like month to find supporters (or not) and fight if they dont wanna get annexed or just be annexed for the said 75% of starting dip points (at once)... that'ouldd be cool

Not sure if it's a glitch, but when you build your skyscraper you can build infinite building levels as long as they are qued at the same time. This brings that Provences bonuses to gov admin buildings to a ridiculous amount meaning you get tax capacity and ridiculous amounts of beurocracy in that Provence as well which allows you to build 1 Provence such as beijing up to a such a big level that you have hundreds of buildings in 1 spot and still get full taxes

@@whitehawk4099 idk cause other wonders have a limit but you can do as many levels as you want in the first go on skyscrapers, the difference between the mechanics on each "wonder" make me think it's as intended, but will be reworked in the future. I'd want you to be able to build them in all provencrs but limit it to 1 per province or make them prohibitedly expensive, but for now it's a bit of a cheese tactic because you can make 1 Provence be ridiculously strong

@@mydogswilkickurass Absolutely disagreed. I live in the UK, and there isn't a single skyscraper in the entirety of my county, or most of the counties in the country. Skyscrapers really shouldn't even be a thing you build in the game as such, to me they should be a discovery like in Vic 2, as a response to either job demand or population in cities. If you discover Skyscrapers you should get an option to spend (a significant, in my opinion) amount extra to have more bureacracy/tax capacity in a province that is already well developed.

Yes, adding a "attack anyway" event option is simple. But it should have heavy penalties.
@DanielRBW
@DanielRBW Жыл бұрын
Easy solution.The time to back down should be longer than the gap between adding wargoals. Adding wargoals should make it increasingly easier and more likely for people with interests to join conflicts. The more wargoals you have the more maluses you should have for fighting (perhaps to simulate interest from the other side? I imagine people fighting in Serbia in WW1 had far more serious/personal concerns for fighting than Germans). Or maybe the more wargoals the other side demands the less war exhaustion or the equivalent increases.

Automating your industry is definitely worth it. Less workers that needs to be paid. It also creates demand for more resources, which will grow your market (since you're producing everything domestically). Even when it says you're going to make a loss it can be worth it since you "force" your population to demand more expensive resources (that you'll be selling).

Honestly that workforce, not infinite, big, but not infinite. I can put consistently around 90% of it to work around the 1880-90s. You just have to build and research more, 5-10 unis/province and around 750 construction sectors should by that stage of the game. So yeah, most coal based better production methods to reduce workforce will be needed, but with such a large workforce, it's definitely not priority. After that, it's just a WC for resources, bc AI is terrible at mining them out for you.

China needs a huge amount of administrative buildings to sustain the huge consumption of administrative points and loss of tax revenue, while there is a huge population to be employed. The biggest difference between China and other countries is that his economy cannot use automated production schemes that do not enhance any real resource output, such as railroad transportation. Otherwise, the large number of unemployed workers generated by the technological upgrade would become radicals and affect the stability of all regions of the country, which would further slow down construction, resource output and increase tax losses. Once China did not defeat the British and Portuguese in 1839 to become the area that would have rubber after the powers went out to colonize and rapidly industrialize, then China's economy would have been in a dead-end cycle.

You know I like your made-up words and commentary. "Schappledoople", is more sophisticated and mature that what I usually hear online.

Mega economy Qing is fun, by being bolder with construction industry you can reach it much sooner. But upon hitting 3 bln gdp the game becomes a lagfest. There are some serious optimization issues here. I never reached anywhere near full taxation capacity, I doubt it's profitable as Qing, you need impossible amounts of paper that is bottlenecked by lumber.
