Jeff Fogerty Hi Jeff! I'm an oldie from Down Under! I just wanted to tell you the joy that CCR gave my brother in the early seventies! We were living in a flat (apartment) at the time! We used to sit in his bedroom on a Saturday afternoon and listen to the music that was booming from the stereo that was blasting up the street! There was a teenage boy with a powerful stereo and he used to blast it out! Lol! Being in my early teens at the time I LOVED it and they will always be my favourite band! Take care and stay safe! Greetings from Australia!

CCR. Great band. Fell apart through in fighting within the band. Mainly between the Fogerty brothers where they sued each other about the songs. Saw them in '71 as a warm up for The Who at the legendary Forest Hills gig. They were huge at one time and brought back the 'jug band' sound. John is still around rockin'. They had many many 'miss heard lyrics' hits. This song is about the impending band break up. They had about a 5 year massive hits run.
