The refs deserve the blame! “Officials have a trigger to use replay if they have doubt to whether the defender is inside or outside the restricted area” There was no doubt, any doubt is an attempt to cover up a foolish decision. If the ref wants to stick to that, he should be fired because he is clearly blind. Not making excuses for JR whose decision was deplorable. However, someone doesn't deserve to lose because they didn't make use of a chance they got when the game should not have come down to a chance in the first place.

LeBron has more 40 point performances in the finals in this last four year stint with the Cavs (all against one of the greatest teams in the history of the game in the warriors) then MJ had in his entire career in the finals. I stay in Cleveland and at some point we have to look at Ty Lue. He didn’t have his players ready for a MISS on a ft by Hill. I was thinking that after the FIRST FT make by Hill that Ty Lue would let the referee know IF BY ANY CHANCE WE GET A OFFENSIVE REBOUND (because people do miss ft) we would take a TIME OUT!! 2.5 - 3 Seconds off a timeout with a tie game and GW on the line. And if JR truly did not know the score that is another knock on the staff for not having the players ready for ANY situation. Great game, courageous effort by Klay😫 and those boys.
