I’m white, but named my daughter Anjali, because I heard it in a Bollywood movie and loved the name. it confuses the hell out of Indian people. I'm white, my hubbie is trini. we were at a mall with our newborn daughter, who was the epitome of Snow White: hair black as ebony, lips red as blood, and skin white as snow. we met another pair of new parents with their little newborn girl. they were indian and, like our daughter, their baby had a full head of black hair. they had dressed her up in pink and lavender silk with beautiful lace and metallic trim. she looked like a little flower fairy in her little seat. cue mutual admiration and, of course, "what's her name?" i asked. they said shyly "Debbie". I said "oh...." and they asked what my daughter's name is and I had to tell them "saari parvati". as we left, i said to Ganesh "well... that was awkward"

As a nurse, I was trained to perform endotracheal suctioning, sometimes referred to as deep suction, as a tube is inserted far down the airway, through the throat. One night, at shift change, while the nurses' station was packed, a new nurse ran in and shouted, "does anyone know how to do deep throat?" Silence. Edit #3:- You guys would be laughing at this new stuff ---- I work in retail and recently a customer dropped me a 'Thank you' card for great customer service. The funny part is that they spelled my name as 'HARDDICK', which is right now joke😂🤣😂

This was such a low-key great Russell Peters moments!!! I remember hearing it so long ago when I was young but didn't appreciate it then like I just did now ... when watching it now as an adult I really think this is one of my favorite Russell Peters moments! When I was younger and I first heard this I focus on this sukhdeep part of it... but now I appreciate the part about his name and how it is very unindian. My name is Devin Thomas and both of my parents are from India and I am first generation American. But my name doesn't sound Indian just like Russell Peters.... And then when he said his name means to make a noise I really understood now how smart and funny that joke was omg!!!! I'm dying hahaha

I swear to god in the year 2010 I was enrolled at Middlesex University in London. There was a guy who was Afghani or Turkish or something whose name was genuinely "Ufuk" pronounced as "Oohfukh". In one of our classes we were to do a group assignment and the teacher who was an old Chinese man divided us into groups of 4. He was reading out the names and when he got to Ufuk he loudly started calling out "YOU FUCK, YOU FUCK WHERE IS YOU FUCK". Funniest shit ever, he did this in front of about 200 students in a lecture hall.
