You did a great job of explaining Soul of the World and its issues. The writing really is dense and complicated. I am starting to enjoy it, but I agree with you about the probable rating. Happy reading😊

I have SO MANY of these books on my TBR and now I want to read them all! (especially Son of the Morning)

Pug is awesome in Feist's books! One of my all time favourite characters. I'm going to reread The Runelords series soon, another old school fantasy series. I first have to finish my current read, Dark Paths, book three of The Legends of the Älfar series, by Markus Heitz. I totally recommend the series btw. Many have read his Dwarves books but not the Älfar, which tell the story from their point of view. In some ways I think it's better.

Did you ever get around to doing a science fiction sub genre guide? The fantasy one had some great insight and recommendations, would really be interested in seeing a science fiction version.

I'm reading The Shadow Of What Was Lost at the moment and I'm enjoying it but not loving it. I'm finding it a bit slow to get through for some reason, despite the pace being good.

Do you have any suggestions for books that are old school like Riftwar? I have read all the books in the series and I really love this old school type of fantasy.

I prefer the in depth talk about each book! I find it pointless to watch a video where all that's said is a general, "I liked it / I didn't like it" but no details are given. That doesn't help me at all as a reader looking for new books. And it's not interesting to watch as a viewer, because it doesn't help me get to know the book or the person talking about it. It doesn't open up much discussion. That is just my take on it.
