I got a whole boat load of Custom All Aluminum Parts for my 12 ft jon boat build!
All parts in video are from Nate's Custom Boats and Accessories. In the video I will walk you through all the parts Nate built for me custom, as well as some off the shelf materials Nate has in stock. I'll show you my aluminum anti flood hatches I will be using in the build, all the 1/16 angled aluminum and tube aluminum, the rivets, hinges, as well as the crowned jewel- some one of a kind custom float pods!
The float pods for my 12 ft jon boat build were a group effort between myself, Ratha @ SolidWorks and Nate @ NCBA!!! There will be a full video dedicated to the pods in the near future but in this video I will give you a quick rundown of the setup. I hope you enjoy as i give you a walk through of the future of this build and share with uou the little bit of product knowledge I have for Nate's all aluminum parts!

Funny enough, if I would have continued to build the 12 over last winter without pause, it would be no where near the beast it will be now. We are going to weld on. The flanges on top match the side rib, on bottom overlap bottom of hull. They could be riveted as well but I got a guy who can weld

Do a speed test before if you can and after?Because I’m wondering how much it may slow you down! Typical float pods slow you down but those may be a little more just because more drag I feel like! But just curious on how much!

Great idea! I may be able to speed test before, gets hectic enough just to work on boat and shuttle it around for testing but definitely a good idea
