Hey their I I'm from Kenya leaves in swiss, I had best friend from your country, I was surprised when she offered me a meal made of cassava leaves, of each in my country in kenya we don't know if cassava can be so testing. When I told my family about eating cassava leaves they all looked at me like I have lost my mind, after watching your video. I fall your steps and made cassava leaves soup for my family, every body was like what delicious soup is this. when I saw them your video and tell them I have followed your steps and made them that delicious soup they couldn't believe it. My mom's house now cassava leaves soup is our favorite. Thanks so much for inspiration cook.

I have watched so many videos on cassava leaf recipe, I think this one is best and it's very simple. Am from Cameroon but I never eat cassava leaf while in Cameroon. But out of the country I met a beautiful Sierra leonian friend who cooked some of their delicacies for me and cassava leaf was one of them. And now that am in my own house, am cooking cassava leaf tomorrow using this recipe. I can't wait to eat it guys and I will definitely give you updates on how it goes. Thank you Dada, love you Sierra leonians😍♥️🙏

Hello again, beautiful and talented sista! Your hair looks so natural I had no idea it was a wig. More power to U. My question today is about the importance of rinsing the cassava leaves. Plz tell me why it is so important. I have a couple of those in my freezer and was going to attempt cooking from a recipe given by a friend. She didn't mention the rinse.....told me to cut the bags and drop in pot!!

gohboy56 you have to wash It because sometimes before it has been grinned to that texture and package it might not have been washed properly or not been washed at all before package and if it’s not washed cleaned there could be sand so it’s good to wash it anyways to make sure there’s no sand.

Well think about it my dear. You want to raise it because ofcourse the cassava leaf was cut grind already before you buy it, and sometimes comes with sand just like some other fresh vegetables. The think is you don't know if the leaves was washed before it was process. Let's say it was wash. It's just safer to raise it again when you come home to be extra safe. That's the only simple reason. Thank you for watching. Let me know please how yours tuned out after you cook it.
