great video Dana! I would love to watch another video of your routine at the moment, both nutrition and training. you mentioned intermittent fasting and i bet it will be quite interesting. Although your body building meal plans look like a lot of food, it is not really. Excellent work! xx

Omg do i feel this!!! Im currently in prep for shows in April and may of 2021..Bikini...ssooooo much food. Its hilarious when ppl see or find out how much i eat..when they THOUGHT that competitiors dont eat that much.. you are so right, the body is a machine and how you feed it determines how your body reacts and progresses

I love the fact that you showed us what it takes to eat and get shredded. That’s too much for me to absorb. I love working out, eating right and taking care of myself, but damn! There’s a whole world out there I want to enjoy including my precious grandson’s rather than focusing on my food intake all day long. More power to those who do it, I’ll always be a spectator in awe✌🏻

Very insightful!! Thank you!! What’s the benefit of cardio first thing in the morning? I lift first thing in the morning and then cardio right after lifting. Also, how much water would you drink while competing?? Thank you!

Love following Dana.. laid back and easy as hell to talk to in person although i was star struck meeting her in Cedar Rapids Iowa in 2018.. always lots of good info.. Robs got some bad ass tunes for her videos and her KZbin into music reminds me of my walk out music in my mma days :)

1697 kcal is not a lot, even though the volume of food looked like a lot.

It can be depending on your size and sex. Women don't need as many calories per day as men do and 1697 can be a lot for certain people.

@@Mary-hh8xj I don't think so, she said before how starved she felt after every big meal because she was so lean. This extreme sport will always be very challenging just because of the scarily low body fat

Infact I just adjusted my diet. I can actually eat like you year round and be lean! I'm 67! I was ecstatic to see in one video your mom showing her shoulder pump after a work out! hahahaha! YES!

Hello Dana ! Thank You for your videos they are awesome. I just find you. Unfortunately I just did the sleeve surgery 8 weeks ago I lost 44lb my goal is to lose 110Lb started at 247lb . Anyway I started the gym with your videos but I am worried because I feel tired most of the time because I am only on a 700 calorie in good days . Can you do a video for sleeves sister. Thank you 🙏

What is your eating like now. You only eat twice a day ? How should I eat if I want to get in better shape ? Like a competitor? I lost 15 lbs last year and kept it off built a solid exercise routine but never stuck with 100% clean eating. Any suggestions ???

THANK YOU for sharing haha. I started my body building diet and went from routinely half day fasting with juices and then 1-2 meals straight into nearly 2k calorie body building programming and it was entirely overwhelming. And seeing how hard it was for you to put the food down was relatable!!
