I had the worst teacher in the sixth grade. We were doing our reading, and a girl stood up to stretch. She dropped her book behind the heater. After she got it, she hit her head on one of the (hot) pipes. She was bleeding and crying and my teacher told her to stop being such a baby, and when the principal came in, my teacher said that she "tried to send her to the nurse but she wouldn't go". We all told the principal she was lying, and out principal believed us. But that teacher still works at my school. We all hate her so much.

I know right! I don't know where you live but here in switzerland we only have 9 years of school at the very least. I am in my second to last year of finishing that part of school. After that I want to have a gap year (which I probably won't have....mum, dad) or I will go straight to job training. At the age 15. I did the math; I would be able to go work at the age of 18. Or I could go to all kinds of schools and study amything. Which I will not do.

Hey, saw your comment and thought I'd offer some friendly advice :). Whilst it might seem like you need to decide everything now, you really don't. I've just started my first year of uni and I've got friends who still have no idea what they want to do for the rest of their lives. I was quite lucky that I've known for years what I want to do, but don't stress if you don't! I assume you're having to pick GCSE options now? Just pick subjects you like. Once you get a bit further in life, nobody cares about individual subjects beyond maths and english. On the whole, what subjects you pick won't limit what you do later (the only exception I can think of is languages, since to take those at A level etc you probably need a GCSE). All in all, what I'm saying is try not to stress too much! Hope this helped a bit :)

last year, I was confused on something we were talking about in math, so I raised my hand and I said "I'm confused, can you explain?" and some girl turned around, faced me and said, "You don't understand anything do you?" everyone, including the teacher laughed at me. I hated school, so much. I was never very good on tests, and never had many friends. I was hideously depressed and anxious for a lot of it. Yet everyone always told me that I would miss school when I left... Two years out, and I haven't missed it once. I'm studying a degree I love with people I really like, and I'm probably the happiest I've ever been. If you're in school at the moment, and you feel a bit like you're drowning, I know how you feel. But I made it through, and so will you. The 'it gets better' schtick is so over-done, but it's true, trust me. Love y'all, and I believe in you!!
