Face ID Not Working (Not Available) - How To Fix It!

To save you some time the tips are: 1) make sure your phone is updated 2) make sure nothing is blocking the sensor (wipe phone, remove broken/bubbled screen protector) 3) make sure nothing is blocking your face (remove sunglasses/mask,etc.) 4) restart phone (turn off and turn back on) 5) try set up alternate appearance 6) reset Face ID 7) LAST RESORT: go to settings, general, scroll all the way down and reset iPhone (this will reset to factory settings-you will lose EVERYTHING) Your welcome.

I never had any problems with my iPhone 11 Pro, but since I updated, now it’s not working. It did work before the stupid update . Mine doesn’t say it’s not working it just says move higher or lower. It’s very annoying and this phone is much too expensive to have these problems .

Interesting when you setup your FaceID to exit (as in accept or save) it only gives you Cancel button, top left. Not the U/X we are used to from Apple.

Very well done! I'm having lots of issues with software not showing reset Face recognition. It might also be the screen protector wasn't put on properly by a non apple technician today. Is the same camera that is used by Face recognition the same camera that is used for selfies? That works, so it might be software? I'll be going back to the store that installed the screen protector.
