@@satched Tornado of souls not mainstream? it is one of megadeth's most famous songs, and is known throughout the metal community as one of the most technically hard guitar solos ever. Personally it doesnt hit even hit in top 20 for me. Alot of John Petrucci and David Gilmour solos are at my personal top. And i do enjoy megadeth.

@@ZedChuva Im not much of a acdc fan myself, but i gotta say the solo on thunderstruck is bangin'. Its not hard at all, but personally i find it fun to play. At the same time i love playing John Petrucci solos aswell. And as far as acdc being garbage goes, they are meh. Most of their songs sound the same to me, but alot of their stuff is still pretty fun to play. And they definetly made a mark in rocknroll history.

Personally I would have done Cemetary gates or Domination solos off Panteras Cowboys from Hell album for 1990 vs a pretty generic AC/DC riff, but thats just me. Might have something to do with being Texan and growing up about 15 minutes drive from Dime and Vinny's compound in Pantego, but still those are some awesome solos at a time when solos were out of fashion.
