the best I ever got in my 22 2500 cummins (it had the stock steel wheels - it was a tradesmen) was 26mpg unloaded on a 400 mile roound trip and that is just setting the cruise to 65 and letting it do its thing - it also had some parts fall off of it.

That's great mileage. Shows what a difference a lift and heavy wheels and tires do to fuel consumption.

I got the 4inch with muffler, didnt want to drive my family or neighbors crazy when I start my truck at 5 in the morning. Pretty sure nobody bought a full size truck for fuel mileage... Going to be putting some 38x13.5x20 nitto mud grapplers on my truck soon. Been rocking 35's for a long time, and we'll see what the difference is.
@BlackpowderBBQ2 ай бұрын
Why about your neighbors?? So you buy something on your own and it's your own house and property and you care about what the hell you neighbors think?? Are you a person that has to be accepted by your neighbors to feel valued?? maybe you should seek therapy. Just install 5 inch straight pipe and send it. Screw the neighbors feeling!
@jsav58452 ай бұрын
@BlackpowderBBQ I said my family and my neighbour's... I don't care what my neighbour's think but there is a law for noise violation between 10pm and 7am. I start my truck at 5am in the area where I could be ticketed. If I had a louder truck it would piss my neighbour's off and they would call bylaw on me consistently. Costing me hundreds if not thousands of dollars in tickets for violation of the noise law. I don't need to be ticketed, I also don't need to be an asshole like you. The only person here who needs to seek therapy is you who seems to think their opinion was wanted or valued. Your opinion is neither. He mentioned the loud drone of the 5 inch which is why I stated I went with the 4inch with the muffler. Many people who went with the 5inch complained about the exact same thing which was the main reason I went with the 4inch. Also, next time you want to have a freak out moment you should focus on someone's whole statement. My family was the most important part, I could care less how someone else perceives me. Just like I could care less about your opinion. If I wanted the opinion of an asshole I would fart. It would still be more coherent and valuable then your statement.
