Steam Indie Game Reviews- Vol.2

Another look at some Steam... games? Is that the word I'm looking for? That doesn't seem right...
A brief footnote about Forsaken Uprising:
As I was editing together the video I had an idea for a sketch and went back to film myself trying to open a chest while playing the song "OPEN THE CHEST" for FNAF4, and the chest opened for the first freaking time since I had started playing the game a week ago. I don't know if the servers badly needed repair while I was playing it; all I know is the game's playability apparently fluctuates wildly. Every single glitch that I mentioned in this video actually happened to me (over and over and over again) but it seems not all of them are always present. This doesn't mean you should actually buy that heap of digital feces; Digital Homicide just has a record of attacking reviewers for being "unfair". Even when the game was working better, I still couldn't operate a damn forge.

+The Names Junkie Thanks! Give Caster a shot; it's awesome. I didn't play long enough before the review to figure this out (it was crunch time for getting this thing out) but the weapons you get in Caster are grenades that destroy the ground or generate more ground; I climbed a mountain by just aiming the Eruptor weapon at the ground and firing to create a pillar that carried me to the top.

From the way it looks and how you've described it, Zombie Zoeds seems to be the poor man's SAS: Zombie Assault. It's both hilarious and depressing that a game that costs money is the poor man's version of a what used to be a flash game you could play for free and is now a Steam game that's still free.

Someone needs to send you a good game to review sometime, like Unreal Gold or one of the Ys games. ...maybe I should do that when Ys Chronicles goes on sale. BTW, I'd highly recommend looking into using Open Broadcaster Software for recording PC games. It takes a bit more setup but you don't have a watermark, you get just as high quality video, and it's less taxing to run.

Man, ranking these games from best to worst is getting harder and harder because these ones are on similar levels of awful. Except the first one. Caster: I have to admit; if Shadow the Hedgehog played more like this, I think it'd be more fun. They still gotta trim out the dumb mission structure, but at least it would play like an actual shooter. robotEX: For a mobile game, this would play decently, I imagine, despite the cheap shots. But on computers, the only decent part is the graphics. Maybe update the controls to use the keyboard, guys. Devil's Share: I will ignore the fact that Digital Homicide pretended not to be Digital Homicide to work around their bad reputation in order to try and get more money because I wanna make this ranking easier and not rate the games based on moral outrage. And... at least Devil's Share has a silly mode, I guess. But I'd rather play Devil's Dare Deluxe. Zombie Zoeds: This game would have been a bit better if it played like a twinstick shooter. There's a reason top downs have an aiming mechanic, guys. Forsaken Uprising: This game doesn't work! It just doesn't fucking work! It's an all-you-can-eat glitch buffet! Silicone: I would say Forsaken Uprising is worse, but since this won't even load any gameplay, I can't tell whether or not that's worse. So too bad. Silicone is an appropriate name for it because games like it is just useless stuffing.

I said I'd review their game but... it's a long and complicated story and I'm going to make a video about it.
