In his new book, John mentions that George Harrison only wanted to be a part of the band and didn't really want any 'publicity' for his efforts. That might explain why he wasn't in the video!

Just heard (from an MTV interview from '83 on KZbin) that they did this video for an English show and that they had to knock out something in a couple of hours. So, they lip synced to this with their English tour band. But, damn, it looks like Caleb Quaye was on that album and I never really knew. He is such a talented musician.
