@stacyliddell50388 ай бұрын
@@lefork2762 finally. Someone who understands why age in combat sports is a huge factor. Tony has aged poorly because of the damage he has taken in the Octagon. Some people get it worse than others. Someone like Floyd Mayweather Jr. is fine, for several reasons. He didn't take a lot of damage as a fighter which helps. Unfortunately, others aren't as lucky.
@stacyliddell50388 ай бұрын
@JoeFarrier-ft3hy You're looking at it as a physical issue. It's more of a mental issue. Tony is starting to show worrying signs of taking a lot of damage. Also, are you honestly saying that 39 and 28 are no different? Why are there so few Olympic Athletes who win gold medals at the age of 39?

People saying he needed to train for an mma fight are the best. Are we going to pretend that he is not an elite fighter already and that his skills are still there? Max Holloway stopped sparring and kicked ass because after all these years they already have what it takes to fight. Tony tried something and it didn't work out. The mistake for me was not to retire but hey, at least he showed us that paddy isn't even able to finish a old guy with a 6 fights losing streak.
