After my divorce, i stopped my relationships with all his friends and his family. I loved his family and that hurt the worst. The only friendship I hung on to was one I had with the person that introduced us to one another because that was a friendship that I had before my relationship with him existed. I still hold his friends and family in high regard, but it would be unfair of me to expect them to still have the same type of relationship we had when he and I were married. If his family reached out to me and wanted to continue a friendship with me, I would be over the moon but that’s his family and that’s not up to me.

A sort of similar thing happened where I mentioned being mentally abused and this bitch told me that I was being dramatic. My best friend and I were the first to drop her, eventually her best friend had enough of her, and now the only people who willingly hang out with her just want to get laid. This is also the type of person who makes out with married men and one time kicked down her former best friend's door down for daring to keep it locked (which is when she decided she had to drop her). She also failed a class and blamed her ex-friend because she didn't do her homework for her... this was community college.... She was the oldest one in our group.
