Namaste friends welcome to the first day of our 14-day yoga flexibility challenge, today we will be focusing on hamstring stretches. We’ll be practising some of my all-time favourite yoga asana leg stretches in this quick vinyasa flow yoga video. Together we’ll get those tight hamstrings loosened up and feeling amazing!
The yoga poses we’ll be focusing on are:
- Half spilt pose (Stretches for splits)
- Downward facing dog (adho mukha svanasana)
- Pyramid pose (parvottanasana) another great pose to work towards the spilts.
- Forward fold (Uttanasana)
- Reclining hand to big toe pose
The more you practice this class the more flexible those legs and hamstrings are going to become, so give the video a thumbs up to save it to your liked yoga videos for easy access next time ;)

oh my gosh... so I'm a relatively new subscriber to your channel. practicing yoga for about 3.5 years now, but I HAD to tell you.. I love your style of teaching and I'm digging this flexibility challenge. Candance I have a question, I can reach my toes but I can't bend forward like uttanasana, I haven't tried exercises right now but I always thought it has to do with my lower back because when I sit with my legs stretched in front of me my lower back curves a little bit and watching this video now makes me wonder if that's the case, what other of your videos can I use with this one to try to fix this problem?

Just starting today as I practice early morning - hamstrings are definately an area I need to work on but I really enjoyed this stretch and my journey to becoming bamboo :)

@@YogaCandi I'm a little behind as was advised by chirpractor to rest after treatment. Always nice to have a little program to follow and love how it's addressing all the different muscle groups. Sending love back at ya x

I'm just so glad you're being mindful and listening to the advice of your chiropractor, that's what yoga is all about, listening to our bodies needs and knowing when to take a break. xxx
