Daniel defenses warranty work is un paralleled as well. Some really amazing folks that work at that company. I'm like Tim over on military arms channel. I get lemons like crazy. But essentially the m4v1 I bought had to have the rear sight drifted all the way to the right. With only a few clicks left at 25 meters to get it zerod. So I called them up. Told them look. I live in a awful neighborhood. I can't leave my girl and kids home alone with no protection. They overnighted the weapon to them. Got it in the shop that morning fixed the problem and had it overnighted right back to me. All for free. Amazing people. To any possible haters gonna call me fan boy. I have the email's from them saved. I'll fan boy that kinda service all day. That is truly caring about your customers safety.

@@jonmeray713 they essentially said an over torqued barrel nut. But thought also that the front sight could have been slightly to the right. They replaced the barrel to a brand new one. Already had roughly 500+ rounds through it. Brand new BCG. Upgraded to a bcm charging handle for free. New front sight. Sent me a hat 2 extra mags put a mag pul pro buis on it. The one I had on it was the plastic magpul sight. (Had an acog on it at that time). And a few other lil cool dd products. Even a hand written letter apology for the problem.

You can afford to buy a DD no problem but live in an awful neighbourhood? Talk about priorities.
@TrustJesusisenough
@TrustJesusisenough 4 жыл бұрын
@@GreenRatel I'll take that as a compliment. 🤣With the acog and cerakote and other minor accessories. Sling light etc. It got up to 3500$. To be fair though. When we moved in it wasn't bad. But after about 2 years. It started getting bad. Then really bad. Then we had a guy get shot right in front of our apt. Dude died laying in front of my door on the sidewalk. Then a kid stabbed another kid about 4 doors down. Cops on the street for something everyday. The crime around here just moves around its really weird. It was the south city. Then it moved north. Moving st the time wasn't an option.

@@TrustJesusisenough This clears things up. I thought suburbs was the way to go in US. Especially for people who are into guns. Anyway I hope you're gonna do ok. Teach the kiddos how to hold a gun but I bet you did it already. Have a good day.

Thank you for taking the time to make these videos, always enjoy watching them. Just shot my DD5 V4 308 for the second time yesterday out to only 220 yards and WOW, got .50” at 100 yards and 1” at 220 and all this with PMC XTAC 7.62x51 standard FMJ (my shtf rounds) along with Hornady Black 308. My scar 20 can’t compare to the light weight maneuverability and extremely comfortable ergonomics of the DD5 V4 but both are great bench shooters just DD5 V4 is definitely going to be my go to hunting etc rifle as the Scar 20 prefers the much more expensive 175 grain rounds which as we all know that our military is tax payer funded so definitely going to take the Daniel Defense over the FN.

So, the Daniel Defense 1) is just as accurate 2) is just as soft-shooting 3) is as suppressor-friendly 4) is lighter 5) has better magazine availability 6) uses cheaper magazines 7) is American-made by an American company 8) has much better parts availability 9) is about 40% cheaper Did I miss anything? So why even consider a SCAR 20S?

Scar is going to never go down in value. Maybe even go up in a few years. That’s a major benefit. The price of entry is ridiculous I own one. Plus you just can’t put a cheap scope on it so the price only goes up substantially. It’s also super heavy. But I love it.

Idea for a Video.... If you had to pick one single Manufacturer for all your gun needs what would it be if you needed to fill the following sub categories? •Handgun •Sub Machine Gun •CQB Weapon •Assault Rifle •Machine Gun •'Long Range' Rifle. (Obviously this is a contentious topic as regards what is considered 'long range' but for arguments sake 700yds plus). The only Manufacturer I can think of that fills every field is Heckler&Koch but I'd love to hear your views in video format. Keep up the great work guys and stay safe 👌

Hmm, Daniel Defense makes great rifles, sure, nevertheless, the comparison is a little strange to me. The FN Scar is a battle rifle, adopted by SOCOM in 2009 used by the Marine Raiders, Army Rangers and by more military forces world-wide I can post, IE. The SCAR features a gas-operated short-stroke piston and a modular rapid-change barrel, allowing operators to switch calibers in the field in minutes, almost forgot foldable stock. The Scar is beefier because of the monolithic design, yes, the scar is heavier. Sorry to say, the comparison here, is apples to pears. Don't take me wrong, I like most of your other presentations. Both rifles belong in a different world, just my TC.

Very well done! I’ve been,”LOOKING “ at .308 rifles. I’ve also taking into consideration a Springfield M1A series. Maybe a video in the future about how or how not M1A fits into that group of rifles.

If you ever want a great 16” .308 w/o the heavy ass weight that accompanies large frame rifles, I’d highly suggest POF Revolution DI Or V-Seven Weapons Systems 16” .308. Both under 7lbs for bare rifle & if wisely outfits it you can stay under 9.5-12lbs depending on configuration.

I have a budget that covers the 20S and the DD. I think i'm going with the DD. After looking at MACs video, the accuracy of the 20S is kind of disappointing considering the price tag. The DD holds its own, very well, and the price is significantly lower.

That is a flat carpenter's pencil. It is built to take abuse. It is sad that you have no lead in your pencil. Must be tough being from Texas and all.

Love my 20s nrch .308. Compared it to my sig 716 16.25” and ptr91 18” at the range the other day and the scar 20 is significantly softer shooting, more accurate and all around a much more pleasant shooting experience. However, the ptr and sig716 cost 50-75% less. For me and the type of shooting I’ll be doing with a .308 Semi-auto the scar is my favorite.. selling the 716 patrol and Gonna try a brake and a prs stock for for my ptr91 to make it feel more like my scar. Love my hk and hk clones so those won’t be going anywhere

Enjoy your videos a lot. Your comment about someone new to those rifles could shoot accurately with a little instruction sparked a thought. Maybe you do a video showing that concept.

The DD5 is cheaper, more parts available, lighter and has identical performance...? Not a tough choice. These are way better than the DD5V1 and V2 though. DD swapped my V2 with a V4. The first two models were discontinued for good reason.

Wait til the newly announced Steyr DMR hits the market. If it's as good as it looks from the initial preproduction interview, it's going to give the SCAR a run for it's money.

I think 800 yards is about right on. The 18 inch barrel is the issue. I think a 22-24 inch would be right where you want it for 1000yds, however you have a much longer gun at that point.
