I recently watched a clip in which some miscreant was appearing in court for reloading a semi-auto handgun three times, fired over 50 rounds in a populated area, hitting two bystanders who were bringing charges against him and then complained that it was a first offense so it was unfair that he was getting 10 years probation. So the judge held him over for a jury trial. He didn't understand the gift either.

And about a month for my appetite to come back. It’s truly harder than most make it out to be. But it’s definitely not worth going to prison is the decision I made. Man, I just got off Federal Probation 3 weeks ago. They smoked me with 5 years probation after I got released. I NEVER wanted to go back to the Feds. I Dotted my I's, crossed my T's, walked that straight and narrow and minded my own business. I did 2 1/2 years and got off on early release. The day the judge granted me that I was so thankful. I got blessed major time. The judge said he VERY RARELY Grants that, but I was Exemplary on probation and others should learn from me. I'm so happy that chapter is over!

Judge Boyd is so generous with defendants. She rarely revokes if she can see they are trying. This city is so overran with crime and the cartels are making San Antonio an unsafe place. I say make it part of the probationary period. The recidivism rate in the United States is so incredibly high? That I understand why some don't want a felon to have a firearm. Since during that period where recidivism is so high? What happens? They just go get another gun and commit another crime. So I agree for the most part? Just make it part of the probationary period. Look at the maximum periodicity where recidivism occurs. Put that on the probationary period And if the individual makes it past that time period? Then give them their second amendment rights back. They served their time and it's over and paid their debt. Grant them their 2nd Amendment rights again

Watched a few clips with Judge Boyd, she seems like an overall miserable person. Woe to the Defendant who goes before her the day after her kid complains their mashed potatoes were too lumpy...😮

Great stuff here on this channel. I'm 39 years old ..... when I was 18 I caught a f2 charge.. plead out to an f3 ... did some time and 10 years after I got it expunged. I've been in once and will never go back. It's another world . Glad I found this channel.

According to the Oxford English dictionary the definition of "Kid" is 1- a child or young person 2- a young goat So obviously she never looked up the definition of "Kid" or she's just choosing to ignore it in order to look intelligent, which it's doing the opposite or it's just her way to belittle people and show her superiority over them!

@@MichaelKursewhy do you know her personally?? Because she clearly talks down on everyone that stands before her which says a lot about her character, if she’s gotta shitty character I’m sure she’s an all around shitty person.. just because she’s a judge doesn’t mean she’s better than anyone. We all know that cop’s lawyers and judges think they’re above the law..

It’s called playful banter. It’s the art of conversation but 1. She wasn’t wrong and even gave him a second chance on probation that he messed up 2. If you don’t commit crimes you won’t have to worry about what she says at all

She is one of those judges that have to have somebody go out and do her shopping for her because she can’t be seen out in public. She is cold.

@freyasworld Judge Boyd is just like any of the thousands of other judges around the country who go to work each day, do their job and then go home to their families, etc and live their lives normally. A judge would only need security if it is a high profile case and threats had been made, for example. She IS tough, but also fair and balanced in how she metes out justice. She is far from "cold".
