Can you add a Jake brake to a 2007 Dodge Cummins or just an exhaust brake

Dakota k just a exhaust brake. A Jake break would require a completely different head and possibly a different cam setup. A exhaust brake is all you can buy

It has been confirmed... Rich is crazy... This build is the definition of custom... Pouring his own bushings, drilling out his own intake out of a block of aluminum, welding his own headers, using a tow apparatus that looks like its from the 1800s. Very cool to have a vehicle that no can replicate in the right mind. Its awesome!!!

Holy Shizz Batman , your big farmer / mechanic / self taught engineer brain makes me proud to be a Canadian. When I wrote this there were two thumbs down , those must have been misguided Taliban granola eaters . On the subject of equal length headers it’s not applicable when feeding a turbo as the exhaust restriction of the turbo negates scavenging possibility of headers like a non turbo engine .

I worked for Hyster Co. back in the 1970's in the machine shop. They used kerosene as a lubricant for machine work and drilling done on aluminum. It kept the tooling cool and kept the aluminum from gumming up the various bits. It just got pumped through the cooling pump and reused over and over. Much cheaper than the stuff in an aerosol can. Give it a try. Just sharing info like you all do. Thanks for all your work and ideas.

When you cut the tube ends that go into the collector, if you cut them at a 45 you can pinch the points together in the center and weld them into a center spike/cone. Looking good can't wait to see her run!

Putting a 6.7L Cummins in a '66 SWB panel truck. Widening step side fenders to house the motorhome rear end. Looking forward to info on these intercoolers, mine will stick out past the front bumper if I don't address the issue (I will address that issue, but it's tight front and rear, so I need to see options for making up space).

Love it. Those intakes are a work of art and ‘vision’. I have problems making sure my under wear is around the right way when I put them on, can only dream of the thought process needed for this. Just a heads up you can cap that fuel pressure relief valve on your junction block and not mess with any of those line. I have on every duramax ive tuned. Oh and you can only run about 8 to 12 psi to the cp3 on a duramax from the lift pump or the fuel pressure regulator will freak out and the pressure will hang up high.
