Haiti needs to open its doors to foreign investors and immigrants like the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Argentina, and many other Latin countries. so it can improve its economy and stabilize the country.

no thats not the problem with Haiti the problem is with the US, Dominican Republic and other countries destabilizing our economy I'm one of these so called "white" Haitians my family owned a lot of land in Haiti still do but we cant get any type of economy going with these trade agreements that the US imposed on to other countries when it comes to dealing with Haiti. My family had sugar, tobacco and banana farms in Haiti use to ship all over the world till the US convinced other countries not to do business with us but to instead go to the DR and the US companies then they put that dictator papa doc in power who ran a lot of the middle and upper class people out most of my mothers family wen to Cuba and some of my fathers to Brazil at that time. Also this is an old video I'm related to some of these people lol the full video is posted on youtube some where.

How many Non black, Non Mulatto Haitians are there? I can't find any real numbers
@ForgottenFaces0012 жыл бұрын
there is no census in Haiti that gives any real numbers. people have estimations that are never accurate. Middle eastern descended Haitians are considered to be somewhere between 3000-4600 in Haiti, Haitians who are fully or primarily of European descent could be anywhere from 1500 -5000 Asians could be 80-250. There is no real census data on any of these demographics in Haiti.

My paternal side of the family is originally from Haiti, Hispaniola, French West Indies. Their ancestry is European (specifically Greek and French), Middle Eastern (specifically Syrian), and Native American from the Taínos of Haiti and neighboring Dominican Republic.
