And while Ahsoka Episode 7 has got Ahsoka, Sabine and Ezra back together again for a Jedi group hug, the biggest question this episode has got everyone wondering is…just where the in cryptic hell Baylan Skoll’s bearded ass is headed! What is motivating Baylan Skoll? What does he want?? Let’s try to figure it all for ourselves, my Nerd Babies because…CLEARLY Baylan ain’t tryin’ to give anyone a straight answer.
Alright so, let's start this video off by trying to address the most maddening question first: What the hell does Baylan Skoll want? Well, basically, I believe that Baylan is looking for a little something called Cosmic Knowledge. But why do I think this? Well, I think in order to attempt to answer that we should probably take a cue from Grand Admiral Thrawn... by seeking to gather as much information as we can about our mysterious bearded man so that we can take our best swing when it comes to trying to predict his next move. So, what do we know about Baylan Skoll?

I think the season will end with Ahsoka, Ezra, Sabine and Huyang being stranded on Peridea. Shin will return to Baylan whilst he is encountering the "big bad", Baylan gets killed leaving Shin alone to tell the tale. Thrawn et al engage the engines on the Eye of Sion but as they enter hyperspace "big bad" is shown to be on board the Chimaera, ready to take over the bodies in the hold and cause chaos for the new republic. Next season will explore how the team returns to their own galaxy*, how the "big bad" is causing chaos and how Thrawn will be caught in the middle. *A combination of readings Huyang took from inside the Purrgil, Ezra and Sabine entering the World Between Worlds and the Force connection Ahsoka has with Jacen Syndulla.

My theory is that the episode names give hints to what's on peridia and why the nightsisters and thrawn are scared. The nightsisters saw a vision of what's to occur on peridia . The nightsisters have been drawing power from the Font of Power and the Pool of Knowledge , which was moved there by the Zeffo or perhaps the Father, Son and Daughter. I believe Baylan hears it calling him, and he knows how it corrupts and creates evil and the cycle. Boylan goes there to it and destroy it . When he confronts it, he can feel it trying to corrupt it, but tells the voice he intends to destroy it. I believe Shin shows up with her pain and ambition and kills Baylan and intends to access the power of the Font and the Pool. Shin resembles abaloth, I believe she becomes a powerful sith. The sacrifice of baylon wakes whatever deep evil is trapped there that will later play a part in the ray movie. I also believe Anikan is the keeper of the world between worlds, and ahsoka will take the part of the sister as she is pure and good. I believe Shin will take the place of the brother as she will be a corrupted evil sith.

Wouldn't it be neat if in the last episode it is revealed that Baylan's master was Eno Cordova who was obsessed with the Zeffo. And as Peridea seems to have a connection with the Zeffo, Baylan has a plan to seek out Zeffo knowledge which he might have thought was a jedi fairy tale that his master Cordova obsessively went on about. And we have seen in this series that so called fairy tales in the main universe seem to have a lot of truth behind them.

i can see that cordova being a master to baylen (i would probably guess before cere) but if not his master may have been a close firend of cordova's and as atuch spent a deacent ammount of time around him (think like how we oftern in clone wars early seasons had aniken and luminara partnered up and had ashoka and barras together)

I think Baylan's master could have been Mace Windu , Vaapad's connection to the dark side giving Windu a purble saber instead of Blue and Vaapad giving Baylan an Orange saber instead of yellow (temple guardian). I imagine if any youngling in the temple harvested and crafted an orange crystal/saber , that Windu would have wanted to take that youngling on as his padawan.

From reading the books on Darth Bane, I had always seen holocrons as magic hard drives. For example, during CW there was an arch on the theft oh a jedi holocron with a list of all sensitive children - sounds like a very long spreadsheet lol

I already know the plot for the finale, Baylan is looking for the voice that called to him but the voice wasn't looking for him, it wanted Shin, or rather she wanted shin to use as a vessel to live in. It will end with Baylan realising what he has done and that he has been betrayed, with a what have I done moment as he unknowing unleashes the mother, who the night sisters have been tapping into as their source of power. I think Thrawn is a misdirect as the big baddie and he will eventually ultimately serve his new mistress. I don't think Feloni will have set up a whole new Galaxy full of non canon breaking material to work with for nothing. They are not returning home, at least not any time soon.

Its not Abeloth dude. The Zeffo have slowly been built up in the Disney plus shows as a way to bridge the gap between the Fallen Order games which are cannon to the shows. The runes on the Temple that Thrawn stood on even called upon reverence for Kujit, whom was an extremely powerful darkside Zeffo whom was much stronger in the Dark Side than Vader and Palpatine combined. Its the Zeffo.

[12:36] I find it interesting that the Zeffo Superweapon seems to be the ability to hivemind people, rather than just killing them. Since there is only "one" person left at the end, it seems that you activate the bomb and obtain the knowledge/experience of everyone it kills. That would explain why Kujet seemed so strong: he'd absorbed the Force and knowledge of his entire race's sages.

I think there might be some long stretches on what you said.. but overall I think is very consistent with the way Ahsoka and other shows have set things up, specially Baylan character, but also I think your take on this is very very lore consistent, nice video man I always had the impression that Ezra seemed to be seeing Ahsoka through the Sith Holocron...or something like that. The Holocroms have strong connection with the force, just as the lothal temple, for example I do agree that Baylan is after some kind of knowledge/power. I really just hope they don't make him just another egocentric guy that thinks He can be The One to fix things, you know? I feel like Baylan wants to change things, but not necessary into something based on his own image or anything like that It could be nice if he wanted power to destroy.. I don't know, destroy the force maybe? The moment in time where the light x dark conflict was created.. destroy people connections to the force.. maybe he wants to cause chaos itself. It's emplied in rebels that the WBW, depending on what you do inside it, it can can be a source of chaos and destruction Maybe Baylan wants the power to enter the WBW and through it destroy the Galaxy or time itself something like that But, whatever he wants. I think the point is: Is he going to be able to get it? he is truly trying to reshape the Galaxy and the force, or at least the way beigns can connect to the force. The real question is, is he going to succeed? I mean... is his quest just goin to be another quest from a bad guy that gets stoped by the good guys? I think that Baylan is a character that represents the change in star wars as a whole.. in the representative level, if he is change, he's just going to be stoped? What would be the point in that? You know what I mean? I'm thinking that Baylan quest could open up to something, some event, that, even if he does not succeed in doing what he wants, he will succeed in bringing change. Like even if they "defeat" him or "stop" him, the "good" guys, on the representative level being the "usual good guys", the "status quo" embodiment, they will be forced into change, you know what I mean? Like in the legend of Korra cartoon. The villain wanted to fuse human and spiritual worlds. In the end, this was unavoidable, and the Avatar itself, witch represents Balance, fused both worlds, though on her on terms. Maybe Baylan was created to be the vector of change. Like a kind of power that you can only "defeat" by changing yourself into something more close that very power. Also, if this is going to be some kind of great "changing" or "transforming" event, this has to be done using this Filone related characters Because they were created and developed to not be just the same as the usual status quo good characters. Even Luke, in the sequels (yeah, they exist..) repeated the same steps and the Republic Jedi or something like that. Ahsoka, Erza, Sabine... They are by they nature different characters. They already represent change when compared to the other traditional older heroes, you know? Well anyway Just hope whatever they do to Baylan it is done in a interesting and caring way, because he is really the most interesting character of this show

I think Baylan is not an average fallen Jedi, I think he can be several centuries old and maybe immortal. Why I think it? 1.) He is talking about the rise and fall of the Jedis as somebody who have seen that several times and tired of it. 2.) Huyang told about his sword, only one person made it in the last 500 years. Why he told 500 years if somebody made it 50 years ago? 3.) He is clearly an extremely experienced strategist and force user. 4.) I feel he did not show all of his abilities. But he is definitely one of the strongest force users. 5.) He is a strong force user but nobody know him just Huyang who is very old and Thrawn who was always interested to study history and culture. It can happen with a centuries old person if the people think he is already dead and just an old legend. 6.) It seems he was already not a member of the Jedis by some reasons at the order 66's time. Maybe because he found the secret of immortality which was not allowed for Jedis? Maybe he feels it a big mistake and he is not happy to be immortal? (This could be a great story ending for an actor who unfortunately died)
