It's not as if lefties do this for zero reason. It's because this is what history has suggested happens. Liberals promote a right wing trajectory via their bias for the hierarchical system promoted under capitalism. When capitalistic structures fail due to their cyclic instability their privatized bias leans towards the right in stabilization of that hierarchical system at the expense of left leaning values. Does that mean liberals are fascists? No, but they do make easier bed fellows when shit hits the fan. Why do you think lefties always talk about material interests? Because that's what people do. They almost certainly MEAN what you say, and I AGREE with what you say, but when they communicate the point they almost NEVER include the nuance (see the “destiny IS a fascist” tweet” not LIKE a fascist or fascist-enabler). Additionally, when they leave out the nuance of what they apparently mean, they use the benefits of leaving out the nuance to win arguments. Because even if destiny is a lib that enables fascists, then that is not as bad as being a fascist, it can’t be as bad by definition. Yet being able to attack him as a fascist himself is beneficial to them Basically it’s dishonest, it makes the left look fucking insane, it alienates so many people who agree with the principle, who agree with the nuanced position, but get turned off by the explosive “with us or nazi by association” messaging. @Mitch Lang I would consider the context of FDR as a vastly different time in America where left leaning institutions actually existed with some form of power. As things stand now, such institutional strength hardly exists when the strongest "left" leaning voices in America are owned by AT&T and Comcast. Also, most lefties look to FDR as the ideal president from American history and in the context of what would be considered a liberal today, I would suggest FDR is much more left than liberals today. Remember, Obama can essentially be quoted at equating himself in policy with Reagan, not FDR. America was quite reluctant to go into World War II and they perhaps never would have done so without having direct involvement. The economic strategy for America during World War II was also uniquely socialist given the utilization of nationalization of businesses at the time. Again, I don't know any lefties that criticize FDR, so he's not the best example. I would consider the vast majority of foreign and economic policy endorsed in America over the last 50 years under neoliberalism and post 2001 politics as a fine example towards what I was illustrating earlier. Whether that's economic policy promoting greater wealth inequality such as consolidation policy in line with the Telecommunications Act, the loss of freedom of Americans via the Patriot Act, or the general trajectory of foreign policy that has never been meaningfully challenged by post 2001 politicians. The nation has continually moved to the right in terms of hierarchical differences in wealth regardless of which political party has had power. FDR and men like him called for universal healthcare via a progressive taxation plan provided by the government. Biden and Obama seem to not even fight for such things as neither even fought for a universal plan, let alone a sustainable one funded with everyone having skin in the game. Instead they maintain an inefficient tiered system that leverages Americans against themselves. It's as if these politicians promote policy intentionally to fail but instead it's only capitulation to privatized interests over American citizens. Overall, the capitulation of such political power towards a right wing trajectory has led the nation to despotism. Health care doesn't need to be done privately, but the simple fact of the matter is it's not going away for a really long time. Employer based health insurance gives high earners access to cheap risk pools and tax-subsidized health insurance. Industry interest groups would hate a single-payer option for the lower payments. That's a recipe for a total non-starter. Any person that is single-payer or bust cares more about ideology than getting more people covered, straight up. Destiny got banned from Twitter years ago. He just makes new accounts and when they get big enough people who often don't like him report him for ban evading so he gets banned again. Although he did become trending on Twitter over an argument with some anonymous lawyer on Twitter do that probably sparked this ban.

Also just generally why wouldn’t you want all the man power you can get for a crucial election. Maybe if destiny’s people showed up, the others could allocate people more important areas whereas destiny could just do “remember to vote” style canvassing
