Check out the brand-new 2023 Range Rover Hybrid P440e review. We tell you in this comprehensive review everything you need to know. This Range Rover Hybrid comes in Portofino Blue paint and we absolutely love it. In this review, we covered everything we think you may want to know including exterior details, interior details, folding seats, engine, and of course took a POV drive.
In this 2023 Range Rover Hybrid review we do our best to cover the exterior, engine, and interior plus give you some real driving impressions on the Range Rover P440e. This Range Rover Hybrid features a turbocharged inline-six engine plus an electric motor making 434 hp and 457 lb·ft. That allows the new 7,400 gross-weight Range Rover Hybrid to hit 60 in only 5.7 seconds. As we covered in this review,w you can also drive 50 miles on EV mode only which is fantastic. We demonstrated the Range Rover's EV system extensively in this review because its the game changer for the Range Rover line-up.
I have to say one of the areas the Range Rover Hybrid shines is in the exterior and interior design. We loved the updated Range Rover Hybrid's design language, and how Land Rover made the classic Range Rover design new and modern while still keeping some of the classic historical design language. For example, with the 2023 Range Rover Hybrid, you can see the headlights, the overall shape, the rear windows, and some of the interior designs do have a resemblance to all previous models.
I will say the spec on this Range Rover Hybrid is on the lower end but for the money I think it's solid. I might not go with Perlino white though personally as I'm a blue jeans fan. The base Range Rover Defender starts at around $110,000, and this one comes in at just under $120,000.
One of the areas I was personally surprised with the 2023 Range Rover Hybrid was the torque and overall peppiness of the inline-six engine and EV electric motor. I was frankly shocked by how well the new Range Rover Hybrid moved, even in all-electric mode which we demonstrated. Because the Range Rover Hybrid is an efficient turbocharged six-cylinder powerplant, it actually gets pretty good fuel economy at 17 city and 22 highway. Combined though with the EV, it's rated for 51 MPG which is solid.
I hope you all like this 2023 Range Rover Hybrid review please support the channel by giving it a like and subscribing. We really enjoy making these videos and it is a labor of love. I will review your comments and do my best with answering your questions.

Poor review on this Hybrid/EV. I own this truck and it has a ton of annoying issues; 1. The embarrassing “hark of angels” sound it makes every time you start it up or put in reverse. 2. 50 miles is laughable. It never gets or stays in EV for more than 10. 3. It’s always in hybrid mode because RR thinks if one of 100 reasons why it SHOULD NOT be in EV, it just switches to hybrid. 4. Clearly, you only spent one day with this car and only a few hours because if you spent much more time you would know these things. 5. Lots of body and interior rattles I have had the car to the dealership about 10 times for the ceiling which is attached by magnets and other issues. 6. Even on a fast charger, this car takes a while to charge even though it allegedly gets 50 to 60 miles on the charge. Due to the weight of the vehicle, it never gets remotely close to that. If you charge it on your house power it takes over 24 hours to charge if you spend the $3000 for a fast charger it still takes over an hour and a half to charge but that’s if you’re using full fast charge power. 7. As an owner of this vehicle, I would never buy another one the electric is useless. It’s unpredictable, the power delivery is terrible as you showcased in your 0 to 60 video. There is a huge delay when you press on the gas pedal, which can be very dangerous for occupants. 8. As I said, in number one, which I was shocked, you did not mention, if you don’t press the stop start button, which requires you going into the menu button and pressing the button. If you can even find it, it makes a horrific sound, and is terribly embarrassing. Land Rover won’t do anything about this because this was the sound that they thought would make sense but it is so embarrassing that I almost spent more time trying to put the car in stop start mode, so it doesn’t make the sound before I back up which takes me an additional 10 seconds. The sound is so embarrassing. I just wanted to return the car after a month. 9. The wood finish that you see in this particular model is the same exact one I have, which is a brown wood. It is rough to the touch and actually can even give you splinters underneath. It is so poorly finished. I cannot believe that I actually poked my finger because of how poorly the wood was finished in many areas. 10. Turning on the seat, Heat requires you to push the button in for the temperature control, and then dial in the seat heat settings, which is a pain in the neck in daily use. Yes, you can change the hot button on the steering wheel to be the heat seat setting but you don’t know what it is and when you turn off the car it goes back to zero. 11. This car does not allow you to return to the car after it is idling and begin driving meaning, if you go to Starbucks and leave the car on come when you come back and open the door, you have to redo everything all over again to get the car to move. I don’t know if this is a strange quirk with Land Rover or a safety measure but often you never even know if the car is on or off, which brings me to my next and final one. 12. This is the worst car I have ever owned when it comes to knowing if the car is on or off. Often my wife and I as well as friends who have borrowed the car have noticed it’s difficult to know when the car is actually on. Yes, you can have the lights on and the radio on and then you open the door and the car suddenly goes off but because it goes into somewhat of a silent mode it’s hard to even tell when the car is on which presents its own dangers. 13. One final note if you get the additional automatic side steps. These can be very dangerous if you open the door and step out quickly because you can actually crush your foot. You need to wait about a second before you step down and the same thing goes for if you’re trying to close the door and someone’s trying to get into the car, you can crush their foot if it happens within a split second. This is happened to me at least 25 to 30 times where I almost crushed my foot because of the timing. I have taken to the dealership and there is nothing they can do so a warning would be to not get these dangerous side steps while they do look cool when they come out automatically they are very dangerous.

Hey appreciate you taking the time your real world experience. I pinned the comment so people can read that. Your 100% correct spent 5 hours with the SUV, and owner said nothing but positive things to me on his experience to date.

Interior is beautiful. I love the rear design. It gives RR Cullinan vibes. Long term reliability is certainly an issue, which is why I would only lease this.

Appreciate you watching and commenting. I agree that would be a concern for me, but nice ride for sure. Will make great used cars when they come off lease provided you have a mechanic near you that you can trust.

I never would’ve thought to get a Range Rover. That ‘unreliable’ rep was a turn off. Apart from that, l always thought they were beautifully made cars. I actually stumbled across the RR pp4e sport autobiography and l feel all my chrismases has come at once. I actually wanted to get the Mercedes GLE 53 amg. That was my first choice, but this car is seriously making me change my mind. First time coming across your channel. I really enjoyed your review. Thanks 😁

The rear end and sides are so nice! But the front looks too bulbous and generic. Too similar too the previous one. They should have gone for a more imposing, modern, square and brutish front look. Maybe take inspiration from some cool pickup-trucks.

So for a total of 5 seconds, we get to see the colour, by viewing a portion of the bonnet, it could almost have been another car, so basically we have no idea if the car, looks good in that colour. Please do one in the daylight....

I explained the color, the flake and that I liked it, did show it in the sun and yes this was filmed in my favorite spot mostly in the shade. You can see some sun though shining through at parts. It’s a dark blue, at night and in the shade it looks black. If you want something that is clearly blue day or night, this is not the color for you. Hope that helps.

NO! The Elephant in the room, is actually, the TREES, we can't see the car! How nice is the shade of Blue, No Idea. Could you do another video, of the same car please but this time not in the Woods, so we can actually see the car you are reviewing. Dod you notice the LIGHTS came on, that was because it was dark..........

FAKE REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah it gets 50 miles on electric.....doesn't tell you it takes 38 hours to charge in a 120 volt outlet, so you must go out and buy a level #2 charger for your home at about $2K to charge in 6 hours....plus spend $10K extra for the PHEV feature....all to save $1,200 a year on gas. DO THE MATH.
@Driven-Productions
@Driven-Productions 7 ай бұрын
Thanks Chad you make a fair albeit bit tactless point I should have mentioned in needing to install a 240 outlet in your garage to charge without the engine, which in fairness will do it too. I did not spend that much to install one, in fact had two installed in my garage for less than $2k at two different times/electricians.

Nah. BMW and Audi are better in quality. Especially the interiors. There’s cheap plastic buttons on the steering wheel and climate buttons. And plastic speakers
