Check out the brand-new 2023 Range Rover Hybrid P440e review. We tell you in this comprehensive review everything you need to know. This Range Rover Hybrid comes in Portofino Blue paint and we absolutely love it. In this review, we covered everything we think you may want to know including exterior details, interior details, folding seats, engine, and of course took a POV drive.
In this 2023 Range Rover Hybrid review we do our best to cover the exterior, engine, and interior plus give you some real driving impressions on the Range Rover P440e. This Range Rover Hybrid features a turbocharged inline-six engine plus an electric motor making 434 hp and 457 lb·ft. That allows the new 7,400 gross-weight Range Rover Hybrid to hit 60 in only 5.7 seconds. As we covered in this review,w you can also drive 50 miles on EV mode only which is fantastic. We demonstrated the Range Rover's EV system extensively in this review because its the game changer for the Range Rover line-up.
I have to say one of the areas the Range Rover Hybrid shines is in the exterior and interior design. We loved the updated Range Rover Hybrid's design language, and how Land Rover made the classic Range Rover design new and modern while still keeping some of the classic historical design language. For example, with the 2023 Range Rover Hybrid, you can see the headlights, the overall shape, the rear windows, and some of the interior designs do have a resemblance to all previous models.
I will say the spec on this Range Rover Hybrid is on the lower end but for the money I think it's solid. I might not go with Perlino white though personally as I'm a blue jeans fan. The base Range Rover Defender starts at around $110,000, and this one comes in at just under $120,000.
One of the areas I was personally surprised with the 2023 Range Rover Hybrid was the torque and overall peppiness of the inline-six engine and EV electric motor. I was frankly shocked by how well the new Range Rover Hybrid moved, even in all-electric mode which we demonstrated. Because the Range Rover Hybrid is an efficient turbocharged six-cylinder powerplant, it actually gets pretty good fuel economy at 17 city and 22 highway. Combined though with the EV, it's rated for 51 MPG which is solid.
