@@MontgomeryHeartWellnessHow does your dietary suggestion work with or against a diet identified by the APOe Genotype lab? I am a 3/3. And I feel as if even eating fruits and vegetables is not helping me, but harming me. My eGFR is dropping. My resting heart rate this morning after waking was 53. This is not a normal rare for me. I feel as if there is something being overlooked. How can I become a virtual patient for advice, suggestions, a treatment plan?

My whole life I’ve been an animal protein guy, loved eating meat, cheese and ice crème, last year I went exclusively carnivore and zero carbs, lost weight and felt good, until I didn’t. Four stints later and a damaged heart I’m WFPB and recovering. Thanks to Dr’s such as your self I’m still alive. Thank you

Thanks, Dr. Montgomery. It's nice to hear a doctor discuss detoxification, when so many other doctors claim that "detox" is nonsense. Yet, those other doctors have no answers for their patients. The doctors blame them, gaslight them, and tell them they need antidepressants. Then, one day, the patient has an event that requires further investigation and then the underlying disease is revealed. The patient says "I kept telling you about all my symptoms and you ignored them and told me I was just depressed or anxious" and the doctor has no response...except for scheduling surgery and writing more prescriptions. Shameful.

I have to say, I have learned so much from watching Dr Montgomery’s videos!! And reading his book!! Thank You so much!! And his videos are clear and easy to understand. Just to say, I successfully did his thirty day detox in January. I was vegan. I’m now strictly WFPB, and mostly raw WFPB. No preservatives and No oils. I was a junk food vegan, eating prepared vegan burgers and sausages, and other so called vegan foods. Following Dr Montgomery’s advice about WFPB, I have lost weight, labs have improved and I walk four miles five days a week and feel great!! Dr Montgomery please keep spreading the knowledge!!❤

6 years strict vegan diet never affected my chronic high BP. Detoxing, daily smoothies, lots of spirulina and being a strict vegan for 6 years found me dealing with extreme depression, inflammation and pain, loss of muscle tone and continuous high blood pressure. Eventually quit vegan diet and a few years afterwards tried a carnivore diet. Within 6 weeks of zero carbs I got the lowest blood pressure reading ever, 78/130.Now almost 2 years eating a carnivore diet consistently normal B.P., inflammation and subsequent pain greatly diminished, depression long gone. Just had blood work done and ALL markers were perfect except one, LDL. Waiting for a CAC test and we'll see.This diet being promoted will eventually compromise your health.
@graycestratton15036 ай бұрын
Just goes to show that diet is a very individual thing as to what's best... Be careful trying to remediate LDL according to Conventional medicine. Listen to Robert Lustig, Mark Hyman, Aseem Molhotra and other advanced biomedical physicians. You may discover that your LDL is actually fine. . I believe the definitive test is a cardio IQ not a CAC. Great story and channel

Foods high in oxalates, like spinach, can cause kidney stones and other harm. Check out the book, Toxic Superfoods by Sally Norton. It opened my eyes to the fact that many of the healthy foods.beverages I was consuming were actually possibly causing me harm.

Registered Dietitian here…Green leafy vegetables are amazing….they are high in Vitamin C, Potassium, fiber, phytonutrients etc. Consider limiting spinach to 1/2c. a few times per week because it’s high in oxalates. These oxalates are likely what caused your kidney stones. Other green leafy vegetables like kale, bok choy, romaine lettuce, arugula, butter lettuce are much lower in oxalates.

No, I am not Dr. Montgomery and I am certainly not speaking for him, but I am a friend of one of his former patients who has literally cured herself through Dr. Montgomery's intervention. Her name is Vivian Amos Brown and you can find her testimony on KZbin. Her journey of self healing through WFPB has been nothing short of miraculous. My journey of not consuming flesh that walks on the land and bleeds red blood has significantly contributed to no prescriptive medication. Use food as medicine and try to consume raw as much as possible and those whole foods with seeds.

@MontgomeryHeartWellness HI Dr. Montgomery. I'm over 50 female and I'm prediabetic. About 2 years ago my A1C was 6.4. My Doctor wanted to put me on Metformin but I refused, I told her to give me 3 months to reduce my a1c on my own and I did. I pretty much eat healthy now. I just reduced my carbs, reduced processed foods, ate more vegetables and fruits and whole grain foods, I still eat dairy, eggs, and meat mostly chicken, seafood. The processed meats that I eat are smoked sausage and bacon (i know thats bad but I love the taste and im from the South) By changing my diet, I lost 20 lbs. and I was able to get off Amolophine. I reduce my a1c to 5.9 in 3 months . I am now 141 lbs. and my weight is stable and I'm good with being the size that I am now. I know that I'm still insulin resistant because when I occasionally overdo it , I'll check my glucose and it will be elevated some, and my upper belly would stick out more. My question is, if I remove meat and dairy, do u think I can get my a1c to go below 5.9 , reduce insulin resistance and reduce my stomach that protrudes out? I don't want to lose anymore weight because I'll look too skinny. I just want to reduce insulin resistance, reduce belly from protruding and get a1c below 5.9 . Also, do u recommend supplements for B12? Do u have a sample menu plan in your book? If, not where can I get a sample eating plan? Thanks
