Me too - positions are derived from efficient motion - and nobody learns motion effectively by positions because positions are actually restrictions of motion!

Another great lesson. Love how you teach swing & club awareness and letting physics do its thing... not interfering with it. Hard for us hacks to stop doing, but its crucial. Such great stuff! The only suggestion I have, after watching most, if not all of your videos over the past 6 months or so: drop the word "actually." 😁 Cheers 🍻

I realized that keeping my dominant right eye ( right handed) looking at low point in front of ball was greatly effecting my limited backswing, causing my over the top swing and slice, but didn't do it in practice swings, and practice swings were so much smoother and not over the top. Great video going to work on this 😊

Definitely - your viewpoint on the ball can really easily corrupt your ability to get the body open enough on the backswing portion - if you can't get open enough, then there is no way to have an efficient return through the ball!

You know Martin I caught a video by you ,were you had two older gentlemen trying to get the feel of how the swing/ sling works, and I believe both of them followed the club with there eyes all the way up to where there backswing kinda stopped, at first I thought this is crazy, until I tryed it the other day and I couldn't believe how good it felt and worked, I've always been a little steep with my driver and longer fairway woods, when I try this and practiced it, I've never had a better feeling on my downswing than when I did this drill,when I film my swing , in my mind I think the swing is not to bad, until I play it back , I'm so far over the line, with early extension, it's insane what real and feels are to my brain, for myself to shorten my backswing now I realize that it's done but the body transition earlier and not by physical trying to shorten it with my arms and muscling it, I've had a few replacements in the last 12 months ,shoulder and a hip, now that I'm back I've been using the pro which I purchased idk 2 years ago, what a difference, just incredible, more speed, ball striking so much better and consistency has improved 100 percent. sorry, long comment, I had a question somewhere in here, Martin do you think a sling can be done on a steeper backswing or do you think flatter at the top? Re: Fred couples for more vertical at the top or idk maybe Wyndham Clark as an example, I've always felt more power being more vertical then being flatter,, Thanks Martin if that all makes sense, maybe you can touch on that.

You can sling on any "path". It's completely dependent on the will of the individual player. All clubs are built to have different rotational reaches from your line of gravity, so they naturally orbit more "upright" or "flat" depending on their makeup. I'm glad you've been having success with the PRO and some of my concepts!
