Noah, TBF the term Liberal just means that you favor liberty (Thus why the term classical liberal exists and describes a more right leaning person with generally libertarian values, it probably represents about 40-50% of crowder's audience), which in the past was a more left leaning position. It's not really a skit. The "Devil's Advocate" idea is to put yourself in the opposition's shoes and to come up with the best ways of pushing their agenda. In doing so, you begin to understand their ideas on a whole new level and are better able to counter them. Crowder does an outstanding job of this, including using their ridiculous conflations.

(I'm a Pole, I've never been to US or anywhere else overseas and prolly never will seeing as doctors say a plane ride would be bad for my health). Btw, I've always thought that health insurance in USA is weird. I've read a lot about, out of sheer curiosity, but I still can barely understand it. Over here, it's not overcomplicated. We pay a certain sum of money every month - it's not huge - and then if sb is ill or had an accident, or for example needs a difficult heart operation like myself in 1999 - that’s already been and is and will be paid for, by that sum of money. That might be a bit socialist, I know, but still. Over here, ass long as a person (or if it's a child, their parents), has a job, they can go to hospital whenever smth happens, mostly. (Not to the dentist, though, if anybody's curious. Everybody has to pay for a dentist's help on their own, a loooot, in Poland. Dentists are a luxury stuff and expensive. There may be some public dentists, but I wouldn't know, that doesn’t really sound possible over here nowadays. Heh.) Btw, I agree with Ben Shapiro on a loooot of stuff, yup. Though I disagree with Mr Shapiro on a lot of topics, too. Which is only natural. 😀
