Perfect for Home DIY and well suited to most trades.

I just got my Tstak setup: six drawers, one large lidded box, and one large open tote, along with a dolley. I like the system so much already that I will add the matching hand truck, enabling me to divide the components into two shorter stacks. The hand truck will also enable transport of a stack up a set of stairs or on mildly rough terrain. One configuration I hadn't anticipated can be particularly useful for work low to the ground: two drawers on top of the dolley yields a top height perfect as a rolling seat.

Yah, I bought the original set for $199 and then added a few cases and then finally got the draws via home Depot online, which was expensive, but better than the one sold by independent companies.

Just got myself into this dewalt T stak and craftsman Versastak. I must say it is the perfect size when I’m in the move in my car. These cases have more options than the dewalt 2.0. The latches that everyone complains is not a big deal. Overall, it is a bit not robust/ridged but for what I use it for, it really does the job for me and for a decent value

I just got the 2-drawer unit and I'm liking it. These drawers are less than 2 inches deep but that's just right for the small bits that always sink to the bottom of a deep box. I'm going to get at least one more.

I have the Milwaukee packout, the dewalt tough system 1,2 and I'm thinking going with this. The bigger boxes are not very practical to get everything in and out of the job. They get way too heavy. Not recommended for interior jobs. But this seems like the perfect balance between versatility and practicality 👌.

I definitely agree 👍 if you are getting toolboxes in and out every day and mostly working indoors, tstak is the way to go.

Liked episode, always like to see what the trades do in different countries. Ive noticed that with the exception of a few slang words, the US and OZ have really similar methods etc. One minor thing, that music...it made my ears sad

I'm thinking of getting three of the big draws for power tools with foam inserts and then two, two drawers for smaller tools and bits and pieces. The organiser at the top to finish off the stack with fixings and odds and sods.

Here in Australia we only have a very small number of Stanley tstak products. Dewalt tstak is the original product and Stanley must have licensed products in other countries. Looks to be the same and would be compatible.

Do you think the Pack out system is better?
@talkingtools9773
@talkingtools9773 2 жыл бұрын
I personally think dewalt have the best balance of build quality and price with both tstak and the tough system. Milwaukee pack out gear is super well made but is also very expensive and really only useful for tradespeople and not for the home diy

If you can visit your local tool shop to see both side by side I would definitely recommend that. The two brands are very different and shopping on-line won't give you the real feel for the product.
