I'm sure there are shelters he can stay at but what people don't realize is some of the shelters are worse than sleeping on the streets. Some (not all) workers at shelters treat the homeless like subhumans and steal their medications and anything of value. Thank you for treating this man like a human being 😥💔🙏🏿

problem is landlords and excessive rents mean homeless and those unable to work are barred from most housing, while landlords get big and fat by increasing rents those who truly need homes continue to get nothing - also says a lot about society when people who are critical of such a system are shunned as well.. the world needs more social housing and proper benefit systems for those who can't do the 9/5 etc.. I think we're slowly getting there but it took several pandemics and social unrest just to even *begin* this change, which is incredibly sad.

@@leatharay3565 Besides the fact that’s not true… what would our borders and those coming through them possibly have to do with this man and his lack of access to medical care? No one is getting “his” medical care *instead of* him. (Nor a home.) We’re not rationing out healthcare like it’s a triage tent. We just have a healthcare system that allows lots of folks to fall through the cracks- homeless, poor, working poor, legal migrant workers, those with mental health issues, seniors, disabled, veterans… and even those who cross the border illegally. And many more. Last I checked (2 weeks ago) tens of thousands of immigrants and refugees were being turned away at the border, especially as “Title 42” ended. Even political refugees . Those that do make it through-whether through a legal crossing and official application or not-aren’t exactly cuttin’ a fat hog, as they say. They’re certainly not taking away someone else’s medical care. (Or job.) Save that BS for somewhere people don’t check facts.
