“When did the smell start kicking in “ I’m guessing that’s when Dr. J determined it was bacterial! Learn something new every time. Love this channel and do my best to keep up on my dads feet because he unfortunately cannot cut them on his own. Without Dr. J I never would of started helping my dad. This is your sign to help the older gen in your family. ❤️

Cdp, I haven’t seen a man or gentleman such as Dr.J. for a long time. He’s 100% class and confidence. I wish other specialists would take the time to produce professional posts explaining problems and teaching preventive lessons like he does. I’ve learned sympathy and understanding instead of getting grossed out when I see medical conditions.

Friend, when a person has only one pair of shoes, works long hours on their feet & rarely is able to see a dr these conditions are more common than you think. We all have fungus & bacteria on our skin that causes no problems UNTIL those organisms get the chance to take hold thru a break in the skin .Anyone can get these infections.

Oh wow; how hard it must have been for this gentleman to work construction with this foot condition! My heart goes out to him. Thank you for not shaming him and telling him you were going to help him. I like how you did a recap with him at the end of the video explaining what all he needed to do in order to start addressing the problem. It can be a lot to take in so reviewing it must be helpful. Bless his heart. That looks sooooo painful. My husband worked construction, and we found that Timberland socks were better than less expensive brands. They do cost more, but they last a LOT longer. I never could convince him to keep two pair of shoes so he could alternate them but by now he realizes the importance of keeping his feet as dry as possible. Best of luck to this guy. Construction is hard on the body and I can tell him from personal experience with my husband it is vital to take care of your body. Be aware of safety measures, including safety glasses, ear protection, sunscreen, taking care of even small wounds. There is a drawing salve called Ichthamol that works wonders on small wounds. Follow up please, Dr. Jefferson! Prayers for this nice man.

You were close! 👍 It’s “debridement.” You’ll hear it pronounced “de-breed-ment” (like the doc said) or “de-bride-ment” (I always picture a bride👰‍♀️when I hear it pronounced that way. The English language is truly crazy!🤦‍♀️😂 No shame in asking or wondering if you said or spelled something correctly or not.👊Now you know something new.👍😊
