What a thing to say about love. After the Prince's statment, Lady Diana Spencer should have heard the alarm bells ringing and ended the whole thing. What kind of man says that in front of his fiancé ? She had understood as it reflects only too well on her face. She deserved to marry for love and not a title.

Yeah, absolutely. Their marriage was a disaster for everyone. But I think this did change the deeply imbedded belief that marrying within a very confined circle was essential-feelings, compatibility etc. had nothing to do with it at all. So the paradigm changed and now, there’s the Harry and Scary mess. He’s immature and she’s a gold digger. Let’s just call reality what it is: Real.

Totally agree there. The whole affair was pretty immoral and sad. They just used a innocent young noblewoman to enter a loveless marriage which was over before it even began and trapped in a " ménage à trois " must have been dreadful for any young person just having been married. Never cheat love, it never pays.

They had very different agendas and as Tina Turner sang, “What’s love got to do with it…” She was too young, too immature to marry *anyone* at that time in her life and he was under a great deal of pressure to marry someone “acceptable,” end of story.

As far as Diana is concerned, she was encouraged/used by both the Winsors and the Spenser family, one for posterity the other for noteriety and a teenager caught up in it all! Shameful, simply shameful.. the RF for the most part are not much better than the common folks.. put lipstick on a pig and it's still a pig!

sorry but she cheated with her bodyguard way before he cheated with Camilla. He may have been cheating with his heart not with his body until he found out she had been sleeping around. She had several lovers while married to Charles!!!
