He pulled insane in the first 15 episodes (though you could make an argument against the first 5), but he only remembers the last few episodes because he pulled awful, and the one episode he didn't pull awful, he chose to try to high roll into rescue ace, a deck that famously needs like 3-4 URs to even function. Overall, his rolls were mid, Farfa's were awful except for exactly Plunder Patrol and Fur Hire (3 Rex outside the pack), and Gage's were insane.

I think if you go through all of the packs again, there needs to be some sort of protections for 0 ur and also for losing and or losing streaks. Some sort of pity system is needed. Another thought is 2 cards of each rarity. Which could lead to 1 good deck being really good versus 1 bad deck being only decent. But it still feels like at least 2 cards of each rarity would at least help with having 2 playable decks

Both players having to stick with the cards they pulled from a secret pack each week was more narratively compelling for me than similar series and much more informative for someone not as familiar with every archetype.

When in doubt, defer to the Japanese pronunciation. You can just mouth it out based on how it's spelled because Japanese isn't made up of loanwords from several dozen different etymological families, unlike English, so a particular character is always pronounced the same way. The J in Jowgen is the same J as in the words Jaw or the name Jack, because the Japanese J is always like that and never secretly turns into a Y like MBT's pronunciation of Jowgen.
