I went to university at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia in the 1980s. At that time, the 76ers (basketball team) practiced at our facilities. I met Rick Mahorn and Charles Barkley who were 6'10" and 6'5" respectively. I am 5'10" and to me these gentlemen were giants. If Shaquille O'Neal were to show up somewhere today, he would be described as a giant.

@jaymikesmovienites3452 Giant is an adjective which can be used to describe large human beings. Anyone over 7 feet tall can be referred to, not incorrectly, as a giant. Hills are small mountains. You're getting all twisted up in your personal interpretation of the English language. Calm down, my dude. I'm an atheist last 18 years.
@jaymikesmovienites34522 ай бұрын
@@jdtown6585 I don’t care how long you’ve been an atheist. What does that have to do with being right or wrong on the subject? Hills are hills. That’s why we call them that. They don’t meet the criteria to be classified as a mountain. You saying you saw 37ft hills means nothing when the caller clearly said mountains. And no a tall human isn’t a giant. A giant is a giant and there has yet to be evidence discovered of giants existing. I’m sorry but you’re wrong. Also, you don’t tell me to calm down. I regulate what state I’m in. Not you.

@@jaymikesmovienites3452 are you aware that words can be used colloquially and not literally? If somebody is much taller than the average person they might be referred to as a giant, but nobody's saying they are literally a mythical being. And some words can be used interchangeably. If you're walking through the woods and somebody points out a brook, do you nitpick and say no that's actually a stream or a creek instead? lol

When Patrick said "Is there anything you would like to question me about the bible"...it should have been game on: slavery, Noah's ark impossible. talking snakes, adultery, pedophilia, Tower of Babel (engineering), crossing the Red Sea and all the other hokeyness of the Exodus saga, and it goes on. Poor Patrick...he is a lost soul trying to prove the un-provable. Sadly you gave him too much grace to state his BS.

Repent. Believe in Jesus Christ for salvation and become a new person in this life. Luke 13:3 KJV I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Romans 10:9 KJV That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Do you think that slavery is wonderful? *Leviticus 25:44-45 KJV* Both thy bondmen (archaic for male slaves), and thy bondmaids (archaic for female slaves), which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids. Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession. This bible verse tells you that it's okay to buy slaves from other nations as well as foreigners who live among you. Do you think that slavery is moral? If no, then why didn't your god simply say "Thou shalt not own humans like property"?

There were young women and girls kept as war trophies by your god's "chosen" people. *Numbers 31:9 KJV* And the children of Israel *took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones,* and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods. *Exodus 21:2 KJV* If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing. *Non-Hebrew "servants" were kept for life instead of freeing them.* And since when can you *BUY servants instead of hiring* them? Why doesn't *Leviticus 25:44-45 KJV* talk about servants and instead mentions bondmen/bondmaids (archaic for slaves)? In which reality are servants your money as if they belong to you like property? *Exodus 21:20-21 KJV* And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished. Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: *for he is his money.* Why should servants fear their employ- er, I mean master? *Ephesians 6:5 KJV* "Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, *with fear and trembling,* in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;" Why should servants fear god if he is loving and good? *Colossians 3:22-4:1 KJV* Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, *fearing God;*
