@@515aleon agree. the definition of brutally honest is when someone expresses something unpleasant with brutal honesty or frankness, they express it in a clear and accurate way, without attempting to disguise its unpleasantness. This was a positive review and she liked almost everything she ate; hence the title is misleading as well as her thumbnail expressions. That’s all we are saying. I’m sure she can take some feedback on how she is coming off to some of us. That all.

@AbbeysKitchen3 жыл бұрын

@liloandstitcbedtogether89543 жыл бұрын
I don’t believe anyone being “picky”, everyone has different reactions to tastes even if they eat the same foods. Saying, “you don’t know you like it till you try it” is so insensitive because sometimes you can predict how something may taste based on smell or the look of the food. Even foods made of the same thing, pizza sauce compared to diced tomatoes, for examples, have different textures and taste. Many people I know get funny looks when they say they hate raw tomatoes but love pizza and pasta sauces, or onion rings vs raw onion. How a food is prepared is often a factor. People often hate foods like Brussels sprouts boil them to the point they stink and are soggy. Roasted veggies for the win!!

Hi abbey! I think what would be a fun video series is if you maybe revisited your favorites/unfavorite “what I eat in a day” and actually ate them in a day yourself! A lot of these also claim to be really easy meals for busy days, it would be nice to see if that actually is true! You can also rank the days based on satiety, nutrition, etc. to yourself (like you did eating multiple people’s breakfast)! In addition, I think it would be fun if you put in the end of the day how else you could use the leftover ingredients. For example, that pasta bowl with chickpeas looked great. How can I use the rest of the chickpeas and arugula to make a really great salad? What else can I use with the pesto? I think people have a problem starting with where to eat healthy and sustainably. This would be a good visual to see where to start

A really good non funky tasting bone broth is Pacific Foods Organic bone broth. They make no salt added chicken, turkey, and beef and it’s sold at Target and other regular grocery stores. I agree that the trend of straight up drinking it as if it were coffee isn’t for everyone and I only do that in the winter in the afternoon. Yes! And caffeine can actually make your pms worse. I prefer caffeine free coffee these days ☺️

It mystifies me that bone broth is a trend but homemade soup is not. My husband has a pressure canner and makes bone broth from scratch. We use the broth to make soup (ie beef broth to make minestrone). Would we not get the benefit of the broth while eating the soup? The broth being the time consuming factor you could buy the broth and turn it into soup.🍲❤️🍲

Bone broth contains lead, so you might want to cut back

I'm very curious what people mean when they say bone broth. Is it literally boiled bones like you would use in soup? Because that sounds delicious!!
@aab242093 жыл бұрын
@Mary because animals store lead in their bones. You can find studies online. I don't think it's necessarily enough to cause harm but drinking it daily is potentially not ideal!

Hi! Does the protein in collagen powder = the same as regular protein, like whey protein, pea protein, Greek yogurt?
@AbbeysKitchen3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it’s all just protein!

Hey Abbey, just wondering if you have ever tried red lentil pasta? My Italian off the boat immigrant mother even likes it as well as my picky Italian father. It's one of my fave meals. I've never heard you talk about it so I was curious. :)

How much washing is needed for a protein powder? I only wash my fresh fruit and vegetables. 🥦
