This was awesome! My late husband and i moved up here in 2015, and dreamed of doing this, unfortunately it didnt happen for him, his health turned bad and he took his heavenly journey in 2020. I am now 69, and to old. I have hoped i would find someone to proxy for me, but that has not happened either. I have had friends gift me some, but, i didnt get the limit. No better way to eat fish than fresh right out of the river. You and your family are blessed.

Wow what a fishing trip. You got yours so quick. The fillet s look awesome. Oh, why you didn’t save domes of fish parts to take home and cook for the dogs. You cook it until the bones are mushy and the dogs would have a fantastic meal. Just saying. I would love to have some fresh salmon to eat. I order mine from there sometimes and it was delicious. Enjoy you harvest and a job well done to all of you. I’m glad everyone was safe. Love your videos and will keep watching. Bye for now from Central Alabama.

Awesome video guys and ladies!!! Oh being able to fish for salmon definitely has to be a treat for sure!!! Plus getting to eat them no fresher than being able to catch them and then clean them and then cook them write on shore or even in the mountains just has to be the best ever!!! I definitely no that I absolutely love salmon but living in Iowa they just are no as fresh as you all get to experience!!! Some day we would love to be able to go catch some and do a shore lunch just so that we can get the true flavor of salmon!! Definitely looked like a blast to do also and being able to catch all the fish that you are allowed in under 3 hours has to make it that much more fun also!!! Awesome video once again!!! What size nets do you use, i hope to fish up there next summer and i was thinking in the fast water that the 5’ nets people use down on the Kenai might be too big. Any thoughts? Do you have a manufacturer that you prefer?
@diyalaskanlifestyle Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure the diameter of the nets I have, but you are right the big ones they use on the kenai wouldn’t work that great in my opinion. I like the ones that our sold at frontier outfitters in fairbanks they have the blue poles that come apart in 6’ lengths which makes it way easier to get down to the water in the canyon. I try to always use a harness or at least be tied to a rope. I
