DISH Hopper Demo

Longtime Direct TV subscriber but when I moved I switched to Dish/hopper.. .this is the best invention for watching TV since HD.. ..outstanding. . .I don't know why anyone would be a cable or Direct subscriber. .. .Hulu+ has got to hate this. . ..I still have Netflix . .. .

just got mine installled on sunday and so far I love it got rid of two 722's for one hopper and and three joeys! UI is much faster and smoother plus better looking over my old 722's

They didnt mention the Srs true volume chip it keeps your commercials the same volume as your original tv.

what they didnt saiy is that they only have 3 tuner which mean that you only can have 3 tv and not 4 as they said cause the 4 tv is like a mirror , 1 hopper and 3 joy 3 live tv 1 mirror

Three Tuners? Does this mean this receiver can be connected to three TV's?

Is the Joey wireless? This could work in my house if I don't have to run a lot of wires, in rooms without a jack.

Any word on release time frame? Also any information on wiring? It would be even more amazing if the Joey's could connect via in home wireless. That way you could place those anywhere you have a power outlet rather than being stuck where the existing coax might be. Glad to see a nice long demo of it in action, I've been tempted to leave Dish a few times since my contract ended, but I imagine this is going to keep me for the long term.

This looks nice but I'm worried about how the connections work. My high speed internet is downstairs, but the main TV that gets watched is upstairs on the opposite corner of the house. We watch TV both upstairs and downstairs, but 90% of it is watch upstairs. So do I have the Hopper downstairs where I can hardwire my internet into the Hopper with a Lan line, and put a Joey Upstairs in the main TV room? Also, will the Joey work just like a normal HD DRV, and can I record off the Joey?

prime time seems like a waste of space.. why not just record what you want ? at least they let you disable it.. I hope that it will let me take my old recordings from my old DVR that I moved over to my external HDD
