One show called Too Loud was called a Loud House Clone simply because the show had loud in it and had characters with white hair.

I swear on my life, that scene at 0:59 looks very familiar to me… But what I remember, is a cat inside that trash can, ala Oscar the Grouch, playing guitar for another cat while scatting music that sounded very alike to the Starman music in Super Mario World. And also the cat designs apparently resembled the characters in the cancelled/unreleased Aristocats TV series? I think I saw it only once when I was 3 or 4, and clearly that doesn't line up with Slacker Cats having premiered in 2007… I doubt it, but maybe someone out there knows what I'm talking about?

Yeah, i have a friend who uses either the "Clone" or "inferior" titles when it comes to stuff. Example, I like both Pokemon and Digimon, and he tells me that he was never a fan of Digimon, cuz he only saw it as an "Inferior Pokemon" (which spoiler alert, he has never watched Digimon because of that) so i go and explain to him that the ONLY similarities the two shows have, is that its full of these different creatures that have new ones show up every new generation of the series. And anyone who does like both can easily tell you that that statement is true. But, because it doesnt interest him, he just brushes it off and most likely by now (i told him this yesterday) he has forgotten all about it

I've never heard of this show before like most other people here, but even I can tell it's not a Family Guy clone just from watching clips of it. It's actually like an adult version of Catscratch, but with limited animation. I appreciate what they were able to do with Slacker Cats visually, and the writing seems average or standard for an adult animated series at the time. Like you, I think with the budget to make the series in stopmotion would have made it at the very least a cult classic type of show. That pilot looked so unique.

i fucking love this show lol one of the jokes that always stayed in my head was in the last episode where theyre at a library trying to find out how to turn the internet off and theres a tiny detail where eddie is reading a book about geology, and later on in the episode they see a giant boulder and he laughs and says "a metamorphic rock on a sedimentary ridge? no way youre gonna find that on this side of the continental divide!" and it turns out thats where the trapdoor to the government lab is at. the writing is so good in this show lol

It was made by a former South Park writer, aired on TBS and literally aired after the same time as Family Guy on Adult Swim in 2010. I believe I'm the only person that might remember it. It had a lot of SNL alum and Patton Oswalt as some weird demon dog thing. It was an odd and very crude show from what I remember.
